[8.0] "While there are few legitimately great matches on the show, the night flows very well and is remarkably thought out. There are many matches that are weaker with more focus on style than substance (Scurll/Ricochet; Wolves/Machines; Strong/Sydal) and some questionable booking decisions, but the night is littered with little gems of wrestling variety. The opener is an under-the-radar great way to ease the fan into the frantic night of wrestling. After displays of comedy and strenght, the impromtu Gulak/Callihan is an intense battle that sweeps the crowd into a frenzy. Trevor Lee stepped up, giving an above-average performance and likewise dragging one out of the unreliable Will Ospreay. Bailey/Omega was a firework and a veritable coming out party for Speedball, who really should have won this one. I loved the tag team title match, as DIY are getting their chemistry on point and benefited from the generosity of the champions, willing to play ball with their antics. The main event was nothing special, but after a convincing show of dominance by the champion over a name-challenger, Adam Cole made his return to PWG in an unique grand fashion, adding much intrigue for the next night's main event. The sum of all these small things adds up to a very good show, with an above-average consistency and a pleasant surprise ending that his amongst company's best, baby !"

[1.0] "what a poor show. Taylor vs andrews ** ricochet vs scurll was just stuff with scurrl being useless as usual and they did one joke than ran so fucking long * machines vs wolves, if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all DUD. Calihan vs gulak hot return followed by a dull 10 min match where callihan moves through his dull moveset in a straight order with no life in what he was doing *1/4. lee vs ospreay, how can lee be so great in cwf but shit in pwg? oh yeah it is pwg and it is pretty much all shit post 2011, ospreay is ospreay *. omega vs bailey was awful a stupid comedy match that went 20 fuckin mins. the selling was nonexistent with the two just foing stuff DUD. bucks vs gargano and ciampa decent match but as it is a bucks match so the first half is just a heat segment is just there to make the match seem like a wrestling match. after that they get to the crazy shit that was expected **3/4. strong vs sydal finally a good match on this shitshow strong was good working on top with sydal as a good underdog strong wins in a good match with end of heartache in a match that suprisingly did not go stupidly long. ***1/2 fine main event not great. overall awful show."

[9.0] "Great first show. Mandrews vs Chuckie T was a fun and enjoyable opener ***1/4. Ricochet vs Scurll was awesome PWG type stuff ****. Wolves vs Machines was a fun match ***1/4. Callihan vs Gulak was a good match ***1/4. Ospreay vs Lee was fantastic. Lee looked like such a star here ****. Omega vs Bailey was another awesome PWG style match. Great blend of comedy and action ****1/4. Young Bucks vs DIY was a really great tag ***3/4. Strong vs Sydal was a great main event ****. Really fun show"

[6.0] "This show was solidly consistent, but underwhelming for PWG. Ricochet/Scurll was really good with great submission counters (***1/4) and Ospreay/Lee was also really good exciting stuff (***1/2). The rest of the matches were all alright with nothing being above **3/4. An easy show to watch though."

Chuckie T/Mandrews wasn't good, but a decent way to kick things off (*3/4), Ricochet/Scurll was really good (***1/2), Wolves/Machines was much better than expected, and actually my pick for the best match of the night (***1/2), Gulak/Callihan was good (***), so was Trevor/Ospreay (***), Speedball/Omega was OK, but Speedball refusing to sell Omega's leg work annoyed me (**1/2), Bucks/Gargano & Ciampa was bad (*1/4), and the main event might have been the most disappointing PWG match of 2015 (*1/4). Overall Night 1 of All Star Weekend 11 was good. It had a few bad matches, but it also had 2 VERY good ones + 2 good ones."

[8.0] "Crowd was hottest for newest guys like Ospreay - such a fun & modern show.. Davey felt like a relic from 20 years ago. Kenny vs Speedball was amazing - Kenny Omega is out of his mind it's so great. Marty & Ospreay both with killer performances! The surprise at the end of the show is an all time big pop in the building :)"
