[5.0] "This show had its ups and downs. The positives: Kash vs Styles is MOTN and a very enjoyable watch, America's Most Wanted to win the NWA tag titles was the right decision, 3-way tag was solid, and the main event was good minus the finish. Downs: the boxing match was terrible; the Miss TNA was another terrible segment. Gauntlet for the Gold is just a lesser version of the Royal Rumble."

[6.0] "Top to bottom a really fun episode. This week brought back some star power that was sorely lacking in recent weeks. The show had a great opener, some entertaining tag matches, and TNAs usual short gimmick matches. Some good build and momentum for a number of stories while continuing to build newer talent for the audience."

[5.0] "This show was decent, but not quite as good as either of the last two weekly PPV's. This show has solid bookends, with a good opener and main event. BG James debuts on this edition, revealing himself to be the Masked Bullet (he definitely had a stand-in before) and saying how being friends with Double J in the past was a mistake that almost cost him his career. Marcus Alexander Bagwell returns on this show; saying he wants a second chance and gets it by being BG James tag partner in the Gauntlet for the Gold. Chris Harris and James Storm had another really fun interview again here before going on to become the new NWA Tag Champions. Hermie Sadler also returns and interacted with Bruce after a Miss TNA match. AJ Styles was my MVP of this episode and Screech can fuck off. Syxx Pac also debuts on this episode and immediately teams with old buddy Scott HAll. Bit of a middling episode."

[5.0] "This show is better than it appears on paper, although it does contain some dire segments. We open with the match of the night, from the X-Division, of course. In this one, AJ Styles faces a debuting Kid Kash. It's very good, as one would expect. We then got one of the worst things I've seen on any wrestling show, as Screech from Saved by the Bell takes on Tiny the Bellkeeper (who appears to have Down's Syndrome) in a worked boxing match. Screech clearly doesn't want to actually hurt the guy, as evidenced by the half speed swings, and massive gaps between them and Tiny's face. In a very TNA move, the guy with down's syndrome loses to the heel celeb. We then get a very Russo stipulation as the teams of Ace Steel and CM Punk, Jimmy Rave and Derek Wylde, and the Hot Shots battle for one of them to get kicked out of the Gauntlet for the Gold later tonight. Despite the somewhat stupid stipulation, this is actually a decent match that allows them to showcase the new teams before they enter the Gauntlet. Did you think we were done with the offensively bad segments? Because we're not. We get Bruce defending his Miss TNA title against someone from the audience next. This goes even worse than the last time they tried this gimmick and really just serves to set up something with Hermie Stadler in the future. We then get the Gauntlet for the Gold. This is proof that you can make a Royal Rumble boring. This leads directly into the Tag title match between the future America's Most Wanted and Brian Lee and Ron Harris. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I actually kinda enjoyed a match featuring one of the Harris twins. Finally, we get our main event as Ron Killings defends the World Heavyweight title against Jerry Lynn. This starts strong, but falls apart towards the end as the focus shifts to the X-Division competitors supporting Lynn. It's still a decent match, and, frankly, one of the better World Title matches TNA has had so far."

[4.0] "This was a mediocre show. The opener between AJ Styles and Kid Kash was the best match. The Gauntlet for the gold might be enjoyable, but it's a bad royal rumble copy. The main event isn't bad but it's not the best one and the finish is really horrible. The other segments must be avoided, specially the Bruce storyline."

[2.0] "Not a good show. Styles/Kash is a great match, but the rest of the matches are either meh or horrible. What the hell was that Screech thing about? And what the hell was Hermie Sadler doing back? And getting involved in the already legitimately hard to watch Bruce angle, no less. Plus Road Dogg and and Waltman attempting to shoot on the WWE. Sigh. Not much of a Rumble taking up most of the show to boot, and the main event wasn't bad but you're not gonna get much out of Ron Killings."
