[6.0] "A wild and wooly ride down the PROGRESS drain; the power dynamics within the Camden brand have shifted to the lads from the Midlands. I don't follow (potential) online promos but I hope the Bruiser & his Moustache Mountain buds rip it, proclaiming the superiority of their hardscrubbed people compared to the softies in the south. Is there a UK fed that has had a great regional battle storyline? Havoc's from Camden so the Ballroom are his people, and we'll see if that's the chase. Speaking of Jimmy, for those who complain about Mutoh overusing the 'Shining Wizard' in the mid 00's onward, my goodness is this guy a one-note wonder. Of all the ones I saw, only one looked great - after a couple of duck/go-behinds, the first against T Seven. Progress does whirl people into a frenzy, but I feel sullied after watching DQ's, ala E Guerrero, in one match and yet wrestlers beat-up refs later on and nothing happens. So Progress is 39 chapters in and has had 11 World champs. Ehhh - well, it's indie wrestling and people do get hurt, but it does cheapen their title. So how long prior to Haskins's actual relinquishing did he make the decision to stop competing? If he could win in September, and defend in October, only to 'leave it in the ring' on the 30th... why not maintain some integrity, ween off the melodrama, and book a show so that Dunne/Haskins happens so Haskins can do the right thing and lose the title in the same way he won it. Well, he was 'tabled out' for a long portion of that match, so it's not as if he was the worker in Brixton. You know what, maybe Haskins was real hurt then too... so why put the belt on him? Be Gershwin, and 'call the whole thing off. ' Dunne may be the only-ever double champ in Progress, but tonight was the night of BRO. 7 1/2 minutes of him and Ospreay was a burst of coke, and he was booked, and came off, very strong in the Main. N Newell as Bailey encapsulates my skeptical, but appreciative, take of this product. 6. 5 rounded down"

This was a good show overall which was built around the main event, and had a good ending to the show."

[8.0] "A strong show, and one that got better as it went on. SPPT vs FSU was a decent, hot opener (***1/4). Eaver vs Coffey was a solid hossfight, but the booking involving the pastor and Sebastian is just kind of poor outside of Seb's ability to get heat (***). The British Strong Style vs London Riots rematch was not as good as in Brixton, but it was still quite good (***1/2). Riddle vs Ospreay was hyped up so much before I saw it that I almost felt disappointed, but it was a great sub-10-minute sprint that had the crowd going crazy, so I can't say it didn't deliver (****, maybe ****1/4). Havoc vs Scurll started with a fun parody of the Goldberg/Lesnar match that was still worked perfectly into the match; it still made sense for their characters to be doing that, it's just that the order and moves involved was a reference to it. The rest of the match bordered between alright and good, dragging some until the finish, which I thought was really great and a perfect move for Havoc as a face (***1/2). Nixon vs Harvey was the worst match of the night; Nixon is good but Katey had nothing going for her besides the crowd heckling her odd choice of gear the entire time (**). The main event was a perfect sort of clusterfuck that weaved various stories into its action and eliminations; Matt Riddle started the match as the only face due to Scurll attacking Havoc, and my word was he OVER in the Electric Ballroom. Every movement Riddle made was supported loudly and proudly by every member of the audience, and his domination of each individual member of the match made great use of that support. The two tag teams going at it was good stuff, and Sebastian's antics added even more heat to the match, while Havoc's eventual return and near victory was what kept the crowd alive after Bro was removed, but ultimately Tyler Bate reunited with his partner Trent in British Strong Style to ensure Pete Dunne the title (****). A great rebound by PROGRESS after the title was vacated suddenly by Haskins"

[9.0] "Another amazing PROGRESS show. Riddle vs Ospreay was motn ****1/4 stars, Riddle felt so fresh and new in a new environment. Scurll vs Havoc did not dissapoint, and the main event had plenty of great moments. Everything else was enjoyable and solid ranging from 2 1/2 stars - 3 1/4 stars."

Havoc/Scurll was surreal to watch, given you know their path in the company. I liked the main event match to crown the new champion."

[10.0] "Excellent show start to finish! SPPT Vs FSU was a good opener, Banks is a future star working through that bloddy ear. Eaver Vs Coffey was okay. Sebastian is a wonderful prick and you feel bad for Bill. BSS Vs London Riots was okay too. Riddle Vs Ospreay was fun! Riddle is a star no matter where he goes. Havoc and Marty was breath of fresh air since we never had that kind of finish in a Progress show. With Marty's ROH deal, IDK if it this is his last show or not but he'll do great wherever he is. The NPS match was good to. The winter soldier chant was funny. As for the main event, I thought Pete Dunne was a great pick to be champ! Double Crown! Tyler Bate's heel turn was a big suprise. Not sure if a heel mustache mountain can work but we'll see. Overall a fun show!"
