[8.0] "I feel very bad for Brian Cage in this match. His character work was really good but Aero Star fucked up absolutely everything. Aero Star's performance was one of the worst I have ever seen. œ* for Cage's work and for an acceptable place on the card. If this wasn't opener and it would be whenever on the card it would be DUD. Busick/Everrett was really good match. Some sequences were cool but it lack some long-time impact of moves, but this was exactly what I needed after the previous match, ***Œ. Ospreay vs Andrews was a good 10 minutes high-flying match, ***. Angelico & Evans vs Ricochet & Swann was fun tag but I would love to see better selling of Ricochet's back, **Ÿ. Trevor Lee vs Trent was really good match with good character works and acceptable selling, ***œ. Drago vs Pentagon wasn't a good match for me, it was just move after move and sometimes it felt like they don't know what to do, **œ. Sydal vs Fenix was best match of the tournament that night, ***Ÿ. Young Bucks & Roderick Strong vs Scurll, End and Sabre Jr - this was MOTN. One of the best spotfest I've ever seen. Every single competitor looked like a milion bucks. Just WOW, ****œ. Overall, first night of BOLA 2015 was really good except the opener. There were lot of high flying match some were good and some weren't so much enjoyable for me. The competitors of the main event absolutely killed it. 7. 5/10"

[6.0] "The worth of this show lies in it's main event portion. Pentagon/Drago delivered a spectacular showcase, Sydal/Fenix was extremely coherent and smart, while the main event built to an absolute frenzy of glorious wrestling. Sadly, that's most of the interest from this offering, as the opener is honest but horribly short, Biff Busick got to showcase his prowess against an off-his-game opponent, and the next three matches ended up starangely unappealing, leading to a very needed hot uppercard. quality wrestling is here, but consistency is not and BOLA 2015 has a late start."

[9.0] "Solid opening night, the main event, Ospreay vs Andrews & Sydal vs Fenix were the pick of the bunch, only two matches left me disappointed and they were Aero Star vs Cage and Evans & Angelico vs Inner City Machine Guns. Aero Star vs Cage (*1/2), Busick vs Everett (***1/4), Ospreay vs Andrews (****), Evans & Angelico vs Inner City Machine Guns (**3/4), Lee vs Trent (***), Pentagon Jr vs Drago (***1/4), Sydal vs Fenix (****), Mount Rushmore 2. 0 vs Euro Trash (****1/2). The main event was absolutely awesome, loved every minute of it, great wrestling at times, the comedy parts fitted into the match seamlessly, all six men put on a fantastic display, Tommy End in particular put on a clinic in this match. Ospreay vs Andrews was very very entertaining, some may class it as a spotfest, but I class it as two guys who have very creative offense. Sydal vs Fenix was also entertaining, only downside to this match was Fenix's non selling of his leg at times."

[9.0] "This was a strong opening night, but few surprises booking-wise. No matter, as the standard of wrestling was very good. A slow start, the first really good match was Will Ospreay and Mandrews, a spot-fest, but an entertaining one. I thought Pentagon Jr's match was pretty good and Fenix and Sydal's match was absolutely tip-top. A very good main event with a bit of storytelling at the end, it's nice how sparing PWG is with angles, when they do happen they have such a bigger impact."

[9.0] "What a show. Practically every match was good, with some great stuff such as the main event, Ospreay/Andrews and even Angelico & Evans vs ICMG, with some funny comedy at the beginning and great in ring action. A lot of really good wrestling, and an incredible atmosphere. A must-watch."
