[7.0] "A solid night overall but the last two matches were the best of them. Not too heavy on story but still a good watch"

[10.0] "This was an excellent hour of wrestling. It opened with a decent match between Sexy Star and Pentagon Jr., where Penta carried Star to her best match so far. This was followed by a very good three-way elimination final to the Lucha Underground Trios Title Tournament between Son of Havoc, Ivelisse, and Angelico and Texano, King Cuerno, and Cage, and Big Ryck, Killshot, and The Mack. But, swerve, it wasn't the final. Dario announced a new final, and the match of the night, between Son of Havoc, Ivelisse, and Angelico and The Crew."

[7.0] "I'm definitely overrating this episode compared to the ratings I gave the matches, but this show really did just feel greater than the sum of its parts. Just a really fun watch from start to finish. [MOTN: Angelico, Ivelisse & Son Of Havoc vs. Big Ryck, Killshot & The Mack vs. Cage, King Cuerno & Texano]"

[8.0] "Really good episode that gets better as it goes on, unlike a few of the previous ones. Show starts off with some more training vignettes for Black Lotus, before going into our first match. Sexy Star vs. Pentagon was an average match with a quick finish. It still was Sexy's best moment in the season so far (6/10) The rest of the episode is built around the Trios tournament finals. First off there's the originally set up three way elimination final. Its a fairly good match with everyone getting a bit of time to show their moves. Not as crazy as previous LU multimans, but a good showing (7/10) After the faces struggle to get the win, Angelico having been beaten down the whole match and Ivelisse having an injured leg, Dario Cueto comes in with the swerve of a no DQ match agains the Crew for the actual final. Most of the match is fairly average as well. Hells building up heat with a few hope spots from Son of Havoc. The storytelling is quite good though. The match gets a few extra points due to Angelico's insane dive from the rooftop that is one of the most iconic moments in the whole show. That leads to a feel good finish after a bunch of kendo stick shots and a Diving Footstomp/Shooting Star Press combo (8/10)"

[7.0] "Great episode of Lucha Underground. When I think of Lucha Underground, I think of Angelico sailing into the ring from the balcony above Dario Cueto's office and that was in this episode's terrific main event. Sexy Star upsets Pentagon, Jr. and the trios tournament comes to a definitive close."

[8.0] "This was a really good show. The promo segments with the asian girl and his master and Patron's promo on Mundo were really cool. The first match between Pentagon and Sexy Star was pretty bad. Pentagon carried her through the match, but it was horrible. I don't understand why having Sexy Star beating Pentagon when he is having one of the coolest storylines. And the botches they winning pinfall... But then the two trios matches were amazing. The first one had some great work by all the wrestlers involved, with a slow start getting heat, some cool spots and nice action. And a great moment when it seemed that the unlikey alliance have won the championships after a hard battle. Dario Cueto introducing a new team was amazing. The main event was short and from an in-ring standpoint maybe it's not the best, but seeing Angelico, Havoc and Ivelisse winning and concluding their storyline was a great moment. Also, shoutout to Angelico's amazing spot."

[6.0] "This was an underwhelming episode. Wrong person went over in first match. Trios title triple threat had interference to eliminate a team. Then there was a No-DQ match with a jobber team who had just lost a 3 on 1 handicap match a few weeks ago. Disappointing way to crown inaugural winners."

The night wasn't over as The Crew made their return to get the slithering win, but the dysfunctional trio overcame the odds to become first ever trios champions, ***3/4."

[9.0] "This was a very good episode! , Sexy Star vs Pentagon was ok. As this was Pentagons first 1 on 1 loss in Lucha Underground it will be interesting to see how everything regarding Pentagon will be in the next episode. Both title matches were great, and Angelicos jump was f’n insane!"

[9.0] "Very good show! All the matches were well above average. The two trios matches were especially impressive, great work for everyone involved. Ivelisse especially, injured ankle and all, really went all out for this. My only slight complaint is I didn't like the end of the Pentagon/Star match... Pentagon is on such a roll, if he had to lose they should have made it a much bigger deal. But overall, great show."
