[10.0] "Props to Tommy Dreamer for putting on a heck of a show! Initially this looked like it would just be a nostalgia callback to ECW, which was way overdone to that point, but instead it was his own spin on the hardcore style. This was actually HOH's first show in the old ECW Arena, and what a show to do that. Good bit of nostalgia having Stevie Richards open and having the Dudleyz in a match. Dreamer even got a TNA title shot. All great matches from the top to bottom of the card. The main event between the Hardyz and Bucks stole the show. Great effort from Dreamer to give the Philly crowd a well deserved show"

We're in a good moment with professional wrestling. We have Lucha Underground, GFW is about to debut and now HOH is looking for a TV deal. I would enjoy to see it weekly."

[9.0] "Arguably the best yet. Feel good opener with Stevie Richards' Philly return since defending the Extreme Rising World title there almost a year ago, the event builds and builds with a succession of stand-out matches and performances (Tony Nese, Team Tremendous), a main-event standard match from Galloway and Austin Aries, an entertaining and passionate showing from Dreamer and Roode in an impromptu TNA World Championship match and a dynamite showing from The Young Bucks. Also great to see the likes of Brian Myers, Christian York, Guido, Spike, etc. For me, the weakest match of the night was Team 3D vs KES - but the thrill of the Dudleys is always there. Keep your eye on HOH. Hopefully they'll stop dealing with RF Video soon, too."

[9.0] "Being that this is House of Hardcore's first Pay per view, Tommy Dreamer put a lot of his credibility on the line. This was the company's first show out of the old 2300 Arena, and a number of announced superstars, Davey Richards, Jigsaw and EC3 were injured at the last minute. In spite of this, HOH7 ended up being an absolutely phenomenal event. Surprisingly enough, the undercard ended up almost stealing the entire show. In specific, the match with Vik Dalishus, Ben Ortiz, and Anthony Greene versus Bill Carr, Dan Barry, and Little Guido match, as well as the Lance Anoai, Tony Nese, and Alex Reynolds match, were phenomenal. I'd personally give them both ***3/4. Christian York and Brian Meyers was a bit slow, but still a fun encounter, and although Eddie Kingston vs Eddie Edwards was full of action, I couldn't help but think the psychology was a little remiss. The upper card was very good as well, but the crowning moment was the Young Bucks vs The Hardy Boyz match, which was undoubtedly the match of the night. All rambling aside, HOH 7 was so good, it perhaps rivals even some current WWE events."
