[6.0] "The opener was intense and hard-hitting, something the crowd appreciated. Fitness/Nation was simple and clean, a worthwhile undercard bout to establish a new heel unit. Team Tremendous are an horrible act with phony comedy that dragged down The Beaver Boys for months, but this match was the best use of them yet, with the outrageous comedy actually working, and The Beaver Boys cleverly trumping them off in way to a well-deserved victory. Strickland/Gacy wasn? t a bad match per say, but a much choreographed melodrama to put the title on an inept wrestler like Joe Gacy, really not a wise move and kind of a lack of appreciation for the hard-working Shane Strickland. The Food Fight Tag Team Match had a good lineup, but leaned so damn heavily on gross comedy that it became grotesque and more unpleasant than anything. The Scramble Match was fast, light and fun, which gave a nice preview to BOTB 14 as well as a healthy dose of humor. Alexander/Swann was a fun contest, but wastes the rare appearance from Rich Swann by refusing him an overdue title reign, and having him by attacked by a mystery stalker that would never be revealed. Airborne/Wolves was fast, precise and crisp, making the champions look formidable for going through these tough challengers, even if the match did not really appeal to my taste. The Cage Of Death Main Event felt very special, with high animosity and desire to win championship gold, crafting an engrossing match where Drew Gulak reigns as MVP, rekindling feuds with two heated rivals and showing incredible character development, resorting to violence in shocking new ways, including using lighttubes in a surreal moment. A few unnecessary booking twists later, BLK Jeez defeated a massively overprotected Sozio and became the new champion, a fresh experiment that deserves an honest try. The card is generally good and varied, but the midcard lull is very glaring and the workrate is a tad too average to be anything more than a good average show."
