[5.0] "The opener was far too long. Summer pretty much didn't do a lot after her shine. I didn't like Paul E Smooth pretty much no selling Mark Wolf's finisher. Wolf went for his reverse DDT finish on Smooth, and Richard X hit Wolf with a springboard dropkick, but in the process Wolf still hit the move on Smooth. But Smooth got straight back up and went back to his corner. Honkey not bumping off Ian's clothlines, but then Ian hitting one off the 2nd to take him down was good. Overall, bits of this were enjoyable, but it was just too long for an opener. Bull Pain vs BJ Whitmer was fine. Nice powerbomb from Bull. BJ took a bump on the ground off a crutch shot. Bull's superplex always looks great. Bull got the win with the Pain Game. The Superheroes ran down after the match, but Bull fought them off, bumping Punk & Baker, and sending Hero flying. I really enjoyed the tag team match. Good offence, good heel teamwork from the Superheroes and good double manoeuvres from Colt Cabana & Suicide Kid. The way that Hero & Morton worked with Jim Fannin & Dave Prazak to cheat was great, and kind of felt different having 2 managers on the outside. Good finish. Kid took out Prazak to get back at him for getting involved throughout the match, but then Fannin tripped Kid when he was going for a suplex, and cost him the match. Overall, a good and well put together tag team match. Good work from all 6 guys involved. Tarek vs Punk was ok. Bits were sloppy, and Tarek seemed to forget stuff at times, but overall it was fine. Tarek tripping Punk in different ways at the start was fun. When Tarek was on the ground outside the ring, Prazak dropped a fucking elbow! Tarek's X-Factor on the chair was cool. Cabana ran down to stop Prazak from interfering. Ian came out and hit the Rotten Rush on Punk, and Tarek hit a standing splash. I'm assuming that was the finish as the tape cut to the next match. The three way was alright but not great. Fairway hit a crazy flip dive on Baker. Baker hit a really steep back suplex on Hido. Fairway hit a massive leg drop. Interesting finish with Hido & Fairway both having a submission on Baker and the ref thinking he tapped. Then Hido threw powder into Fairway's eyes and rolled him up for the win. Weird combo of guys and quite a forgettable match, but there were bits I liked, and it's cool to have Hido in the IWA history books as the first Japanese IWA Mid South champion. Rollin vs Corp was ok. The only 2 highlights were just the 2 spots into the barbedwire. The match was pretty much just some brawling and faces being ground into the barbs, and then 2 bumps into the webs for the finish. I was a bit disappointed by the match to be honest. Shame the attendance was low for a Saturday night IWA show, as this was a great card on paper and had some fun matches."
