[4.0] "Lucky/Jaki suceeded since, despite the vulgar comedy that I dislike, they crafted a fun-spirited match with decent action and a nice results that pushes forward a favorite of mine. Masada/Aeroboy was essentially a glorious squash. Havoc/Takeda was a decent conventional deathmatch, but the kids pool look horrendously amateurish, even more than usual. Tremont/Kasai is a huge dream match, carried by both guys charisma who brawled and entertained the crowd, keeping the weapons usage light until the finishing sequence. Alexander/Gacy was a very basic match with nothing memorable to it, but it garnered a solid amount of heat while giving the tournament a break. Lucky/Masada was very interesting and entertaining , with the plucky Lucky taking it hard to Masada and coming close to upset the tournament master, but the Ultraviolent Beast caught him and brought him down to claim his place in the Finals. Havoc/Kasai was decent, as Jun Kasai slowly took over and dismantled his opponent until he could finish him and move on to the Finals. Drew Gulak great positive promo, prompting a long boring angle with DJ Hyde hogging the spotlight, finally leading to a CZW Tag Team Title match that had decent if conventional action, only for Gulak partner to senselessly turn on him and negate the entire match. Mathis/Moore went on, being pretty much a standard sloppy deathmatch. Masada/Kasai was the ideal finals, with two highly rated deathmatch specialists gradually building a violent match where they dismantled each other, as they seemed to search in their deep resources to finish the match and gain the final victory with a huge crazy bump. The non-tournament matches felt superfluous and even boring, but the tournament did its job well. The build of Masada and Jun Kasai was great, with Lucky getting the third place with solid performances, and the Finals was a smart match that sold the punishment and the courage of the wrestlers, making this a solid story for a good night."

[9.0] "Very good edition of the ToD. The international guests have done really well, and I'm very pleased with Kasai as the final winner. This must be a new beginning for CZW who hasn't done really well in this 2014. 8 on 10."
