[4.0] "Man this show was just so strange. 6 of the 9 matches on this show had some sort of gimmick or stipulation attached to them, and for the most part they didn't really help these matches at all. The opening Ghetto Brawl was about what you'd expect from this feud, including tons of interference near the end. The Double Bullrope Match was pretty nice, but it didn't amount to much and had quite a deflating finish. Senshi vs Starr had this pretty pointless Chicken Wing gimmick that very much made the match worse, although they did try to make something out of it. The VKM vs Christy Hemme angle is just the worst. Lynn vs Sabin was good but I wasn't really a fan of how that match went at all, and something felt really off about it. Elevation X was honestly better than I expected - they sold the hell out of it (Although it was a bit too much) and AJ and Rhino honestly did the best they could with the not so much they could've done up there. Angle vs Steiner was a letdown and they also messed up the finish, something just didn't click there between these two. Last Rites was just bad, pretty much nothing as a match and as a gimmick that Sting didn't really have to win. The main event was built up pretty well throughout the night with Christian getting more nervous about not having anyone by his side against Joe, and while that match was probably the best of this show by far, Christian retaining did kind of get the win out of its sails, although you could say that results did feel kind of predictable, even with how good the match was, and the amount of bullshit they had at the finish just for Christian to retain. It was surprisingly not as egregious as I thought it was going to be, but that also is what makes Christian's win a little kind of surprising to me. Overall, a pretty infamous show and I would not say for the good reasons. It's far from TNA's worst pay-per-view ever, but top to bottom it's definitely one of the weirdest."

[5.0] "The best thing I can say about this show is that it wasn't quite as bad as Against All Odds, despite being mostly made up of rematches from that event (six out of nine! ). No Big Fat Oily Guy, no Kevin Nash, no backstage comedy skits, no Miss Brooks/Eric Young contract nonsense, no overbooked main event. Christy Hemme was still getting denigrated for absolutely no reason by Dogg Ass (and Jim Cornette) and weird stipulations dragged half of the matches down, but this is the second Vince Russo era of TNA and we can't have nice things. The main event luckily provided a bright spot on an otherwise entirely skippable and at times painful-to-watch show. Also, a Great Muta cameo that referenced his NWA World Heavyweight Championship reign, since he was in the 'States for Juggalo Championshit Wrestling's East Side Wars show! Though when a cameo is the second most interesting thing on your PPV, you're on the wrong track."

[6.0] "The quality of this show is all over the place, the X-Divison action is great & the main event is phenomenal, but you also get some below average tag matches & a few ridiculous gimmick matches. At least there's no Fat Oily Guy on the card like the previous PPV tho."

[7.0] "A ppv with 6 matches with estipulations look like could result in a disaster but it was pretty entertaining (sometimes). VKM the worst of the show as always, the Petey and Gail vs Storm and Jackie was wieird for two reasons first of all the strange stipulation and second why this feud is still going on? Like Harris wasnt injured in real life so why dont bring him back know? .The last rites match was funny but it cant take seriously with a casket coming from the sky but at least i liked Sting's work here. The Chicken Wing match was okay i guess and Bob Backlund is funny so i didnt see the problem of having that match on the card, Steiner looked like he tried but him and Kurt Angle only could have a "Meh, Ok" match, Both Tag match and X-Division match were fun and it had interesting stuff lik Daniels debut or the angle of the Gangs having their war. But with no doubt the best matches of the show were the Main Event and suprisingly good Elevation X match which made me fear for these guys health, Samoa Joe and Christian had an unexpected banger and Christians winning with no Tomko was a good surprise."

[4.0] "A Vince Russo PPV if there ever was one with gimmick matches galore, most of which the gimmick adds either nothing to the match or theres some kind of nonsense to end the match. Joe/Christian substantially the MOTN but Joe losing once again made for a flat way to end the show."

[5.0] "There are some decent matches sprinkled through this and Rhino and AJ Styles managed to massively over deliver with the stupid Elevation X gimmick but TNA had a habit of not being able to get out of its way and allow talented people to deliver and the card is still chock full of people who just aren't good (looking at you VKM)"
