[9.0] "A massive victim of circumstance in his era. As Fuchi evolves to a openweight, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi will join the many untapped potential due to the greatest roster holding the mantel. He was 5'9 and best 202 pounds thinned frame. His peak was getting up in the tag team ranks as a rookie alongside Kenta Kobashi and eventually in the holy demon army. He started along with the 4 heavenly pillars of AJPW. Graded by his contemporaries. If Jun Akiyama was the 5th heavenly pillar, Kikuchi was the boulder that should had rose."

[7.0] "A fantastic underdog in his prime: perhaps too good considering he was basically stuck there unless he was facing low card talent: but Kikuchi was a very good tag worker who could run as the big seller and whatnot, building to big hot tags, etc etc. Sadly brain damage and other issues meant that Kikuchi couldn't really keep up with such a demanding role and had to pace himself down a lot. I've watched a fair chunk of his later work and while he's still good in places, there's a noticeable gap in quality between his Tsuruta-Gun battling days and later on. Not saying he was bad or anything but I mostly didn't really get his ring work unless he was in the ring with guys like Marufuji or Kanemaru. A good tag hand but kinda underwhelming in singles."

All Japan being what it was, there was always a limit to how far Kikuchi was going to rise, which is a shame because he deserved so much more for what he put his body through."

[7.0] "In his prime, he was a very good tag team wrestler, and he put on some really good matches in the early and mid 90s (particularly his match with Kenta Kobashi against the Can-Am Express. One of the loudest Japanese crowds in history). Later on he came a good comic wrestler."
