From Dragon Gate, to the WWE, and ultimately to AEW, PAC was one of my favorite wrestlers to watch. Whatever you want to call it, Britsh Airways/Red Arrow/Black Arrow was one of the most beautiful moves in wrestling history. Rest easy, PAC, and thank you for an outstanding 22 years in pro wrestling. Forever our Bastard."

Ive had the pleasure of seeing him so many times live, and he never ceased to amaze me. I was in the crowd for his last match. I can't believe less than 24 hours later he would be taken from us. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time is gone, just like that. I love you PAC."

From the best high flyer in the world to the technical wrestler you became, blending mat wrestling with a powerhouse style, such a successful transformation showed your extraordinary ability, talent, and diligence as one of the most outstanding wrestlers of this generation. Today, seeing the news of your passing, I am overcome with grief, sorrow, and a profound sense of trauma. I think I will begin tonight by rewatching your signature matches in Dragon Gate, NXT, 205 Live, and AEW. I will be amazed by them, and even more, my heart will break over them. You are "The Man That Gravity Forgot, " a cornerstone of NXT's Black and Gold era, the King of the Cruiserweights of 205 Live, one of the original members of AEW, and forever "The Bastard." There will be a place for you in the Valhalla of professional wrestling, and there will be a monument to you in the history of professional wrestling. I will always remember you, and my love for you will never fade.REST IN PEACE PAC."

When he was allowed to do what he did best, which was wrestle, he was an absolute monster. Spectacular finisher. There's not much else to add. He's probably missing a few titles, maybe even the biggest one, but I'm convinced they would have come eventually. Unfortunately, things turned out the way they did. If I have to evaluate the career he had, especially considering his tragically early death, I can only give him the highest possible rating. I know for sure he would have had at least another 10 years at the top level. He will be missed tremendously."

One of the most innovative, reliable, and inspiring workers this business has ever seen. Book him in the 8th match on the PPV and he'll make it one of the most anticipated on the card. Put him against a titan, a cruiserweight, an all-timer, and he'll shine brightly in his own unique way. The man had an incredible persona and in-ring knowledge that made him must-watch. You could've strapped a rocket onto him and nobody would've complained. By all accounts, an amazing person too. How many people can you say that about? He was cruelly taken from us too early, but the legacy he leaves behind is unforgettable."

Since I'm not a tall person, PAC made me believe (even for a brief moment) that I could be a top pro-wrestler too (never tried, honestly, but he gave me some hope). I don't want to harp on tragedy, I mean only to say that even at age 40 PAC had so much left to give in the wrestling world and he deserved many more championships and accomplishments than he already had. He was always good, he was always someone to bet on in a room of amazing wrestlers. He may have got lost in the shuffle when it came time to put the belt on a guy, but every match he had it was easy to take notice of just how freaking good he was. Its so hard to think of him in the pass-tense now, and even harder to think he never got a world title run, he will forever be remembered as one of the best of his kind. Maybe overlooked, never understated, always at the top even if never rewarded for it."

I was there for Pac's last two shows in England last month and I had been trying to make my mind up between a 9 or a 10. I felt like I'd settled on the 10 after the Andrade match and then he passed unexpectedly the same day. Pac was a rare perfect wrestler, someone who could do it all. One of the greatest highflyers of all time, an impressive technical wrestler, a convincing brawler, plenty of unforgettable promos, a dedicated character worker - I could go on and on. He could be the monster heel, a convincing babyface and even knew how to get a laugh out of you at the right time. We knew Pac was influential, but we didn't realise quite how influential he really was until the outpouring of stories from so many corners of the scene over the last few days. What a wrestler, what a performer and by all accounts what an amazing human being."

His work in early NXT was phenomenal, shout-out to the very underrated fatal four way with TJ, Tyler Breeze, and Sami and his singles match with Sami that was an awesome moment. His work as Cruiserweight Champion was really good as well, and it felt like WWE didn't just want to use him on the main roster which is absurd. His work in AEW was amazing, having some of the best matches of his career, and I really appreciate all the work PAC contributed to the wrestling world. A true pioneer in this industry and will never be forgotten."

[10.0] "I initially had PAC at a 9 on here as of August 28th, 2022. I'm going with a 10 now because it's deserved. He was an excellent wrestler who had incredibly aerial + high-flying offense, but also had such a great submission game as well. He would impress millions of people with his awesome high-flying maneuvers as a babyface, especially in which NOBODY could beautifully master the Black Arrow as he did. PAC would also do a great job being a grounded worker who relied on his strength + power, and his mat-based offense as a heel. As Neville, he had such a great run as the Cruiserweight Champion (in BOTH reigns) in 2017, and he was consistently one of the best highlights of main roster WWE that year up until his sudden departure in October. PAC was consistently great in his AEW run whether he worked solo, worked as the leader of Death Triangle, or worked as a badass enforcer of the Death Riders. PAC was arguably at his best playing the role of a tweener because he was so believable playing the role of a prick (or as the Bastard), but he was always charming & likable to the point where you just couldn't help but respect that man for being a great performer. Another underrated aspect about PAC was how he pretty much NEVER broke character (since Roadblock 2016 onwards), PAC had countless bangers with numerous opponents in WWE, AEW, Dragon Gate, and other promotions. He was a pretty damn good talker as well with a unique promo game. FUCK, I'll miss that talented man so much. Thank you, PAC. Rest in peace. Until we all meet again in the afterlife to finally watch you wrestle again regularly <3"

Seeing him pop up in AEW was one of the things that lead me to give the company a chance when I'd stopped watching wrestling altogether. Been to who knows how many wrestling shows over the years, but never saw him wrestle. Just dumb luck. Made the long drive up to Dynasty in Vancouver, BC this year and the highlight of the evening for me--and it was a hell of a card, mind you--was PAC's music hitting during the Casino Gauntlet match. There he was, finally. And then I got another match of his again Lio Rush at a taping in either Everett or Portland a few days later. Just flat out, one of the best to ever do it. You can see his fingerprints on what a lot of guys do. A massive loss."

[10.0] "To put it simply, one of the best wrestlers to ever live. I discovered PAC in 2013, from the bits and pieces I saw of NXT and I was hooked from match one. Sure, I'd seen high flyers before but I'd never seen anything as spectacular as the move then known as the Red Arrow. I used to try and do it on my trampoline, along with his imploding 450. I fell deeper in love after his appearance in 2k15 and used him non stop. He was always a great worker but it took him becoming the vicious King Of The Cruiserweights for him to push through shyness and reveal he was a legendary mic guy too. He was an innovator, the ace that inspired the entire next generation. His AEW work was perfection. I particularly loved his 3 way with OC and Omega at Double or Nothing, the trios title win at All In 2024 which I saw live and his entire run as a Death Rider. PAC will forever be a legend, and I will miss him dearly because he should still be here and he should be the world champ he was born to be. Fly high you Bastard, you will live forever."

[10.0] ""He was the figurehead for what new age wrestling could be" Like many people, the news of his passing came as such a sudden shock that it did not feel real and I did not know how to feel about it until the next day. The more I have thought about what he means to me, the sadder I got with the realization of how important he is to everything I enjoy about wrestling. He was the exact person who always came to mind whenever I thought about why I am so happy about the existence of AEW, and what it represents for people like kyle fletcher, will ospreay, and darby allin today to break through on their own merits. From changing the identity of NXT to kickstarting AEW, Pac was front and center everywhere, spearheading this new age of wrestling that has captivated new fans and rejuvenated so many elapsed wrestling fans. Unfortunately, while he had his memorable moments in AEW, his time there never truly blossomed into his own great peaks, and he was regularly marred by issues to his health and his travel status during covid. Ever the humble professional and genuinely nice person that his peers have said about him, you could have never known how much adversity he put up with and how much he always put other people over with his best efforts. For me, his match with Okada was a sad moment when I realized he had lost a step between his age, injuries, and other setbacks, and that his time had most likely passed in terms of main event prominence. Still, he never complained and was always great in any role they put him in, and he was part of many memorable teams and elevated every title he held or competed for. In the ring, it is impossible to do justice describing the unique elegance and grace he executed every single night, matched with equally unmatched athleticism and iron grit. Every bit the innovator and profoundly influential worker as his peers like Will Ospreay and Okada, he fully belongs in those same breaths in terms of best pure wrestlers of this generation."

PAC was an absolute treasure everywhere he went pretty much throughout his whole career - from his early days and early stint in WWE where he was just a quintessential babyface just doing the most insane, innovative and downright impressive high flying and crisp offense you've ever seen alongside his excellent selling, to even much late into his run in AEW where he developed such a believable edge, character and promo as a maniacal heel. Every single time you saw him you couldn't not be at least enthralled by his presence. It's an absolute tragedy losing him, especially at such a young age for a wrestler. Rest In Peace. He was very versatile. I think his All Atlantic Championship reign was very memorable in particular. Some of that reign was shown on AEW Dark and I remember the Connor Mills match, this was a completely distinct and unique setting but Pac excelled in it. Also he was an extremely solid trios wrestler as well with Death Triangle. He had great matches with Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin. The golf course match was unique and great. If not for the tragic passing, from what I could tell he looked like he still had a number of solid years left. But he was taken away very prematurely. It is shocking to see. RIP"

Him and Hangman had the first match to ever have AEW branding put on it, for an indy promotion in the UK - a bit before Double or Nothing 2019. He'd go on to have some of the first truly incredible matches that proved this AEW thing would work alongside Kenny Omega, some of the best matches to happen in 2019 and 2020. That iron man match lives rent free in my head, PAC countering the One Winged Angel into the Brutalizer is one of my favorite spots of all time. And thats just how his time in AEW began. In an increasingly stacked roster, PAC since day one has always been counted among the top for a reason. There was simply no one else like him, no one as complete in the same way that PAC always was. AEW was built by people like PAC, modern professional wrestling as a whole is. This one is going to stick around heavy in my heart for an extremely long time. PAC will be forever missed for many reasons, those who were close to him undoubtedly have lost one of the bright spots of their lives. For me, I lost one of my favorite wrestlers around, and that really hurts. We should have had hundreds of more matches and moments from him. We should have seen him becoming a scowling old british wrestling guy. 40 is so incredibly young to lose anyone."

Very few more well rounded wrestlers and next to none who managed to maintain their mystique in the way he did. Just a fantastic talent everywhere he went from being one of the most exciting guys on the indies for years to a killer in Japan to the NXT Champion to the King of the Cruiserweights to AEW's first All-Atlantic champion and first ever double champion. Inspired a whole generation with his in-ring style and by all accounts was extremely modest about his own abilities which is quite something for someone as talented as he was. Deserves huge credit for some of his influence in early AEW, filling in for Mox early on to face Kenny Omega, for his role in the early stages of the Hangman Page saga to his massive role in legitimising Orange Cassidy in what is still AEW's most watched match, and video, on YouTube even to this day. [9.0] "I watched PAC's entire career mostly in AEW, although I did watch a few 205 matches, and his overall style is simple: man does some real damn good flips. His career in AEW as a day 1er is one of the most straightforward careers in modern wrestling, because while one argued his presentation never changed once and as such could have been labelled as stale, he was also very, very, VERY good at what he did. His athletic ability - defined by simplicity & crispness - kept him on the top percentile of workers and cemented his place there for his entire career, no small feat given how wrestlers are prone to changing their style to adapt with age and injuries- and he also had terrific selling ability, making him a easy matchup for most wrestlers. His entrances, promos, and overall look was that of 'The bastard;' he was angry, his hair was always wet, he stared at the camera for a few seconds before he went out for a match set to a amazing theme, and he had a absolute killer roster of defining matches, including one with Orange Cassidy that highlighted his ability to play off a comedic wrestler to perfection, and matches with Kenny Omega that are as insane as one might think paring off against another athletic 1%er. While his booking had interesting bends and turns, including a Trio run with the Lucha Bros and a long-running position in the Blackpool Combat Club and it's second incarnation the Death Riders, his booking had never deviated from him being a upper card showstealer, perhaps his only weakness, and not entirely one of his own making. Despite this, straight until his unfortunate passing, his almost perfect consistency with his high-flying and in-your-face presentation ensured him a evergreen spot in everybody's minds and hearts. He was truly a bastard, and as fans often quoted, 'he's our bastard.'"

Pac was one of the first wrestlers I was a fan of when I started to get into wrestling when I was only a freshman in high school a decade ago. His match against Seth Rollins on RAW for the world title was a classic and had one of the craziest near falls of all time, he was also the King of Cruiserweights and excelled in that role and pretty much carried that sort of persona when he jumped shift to AEW and was one of the very first signees. Before all of that he became prominent in Dragongate and had classics with Kzy, Shingo and so on. His finisher the Black Arrow was a thing of a beauty and is still one of my all time favorite finishers. From the King of the Cruiserweights to the Bastard, Pac maybe the man that gravity forgot, but he will never be forgotten. Rest easy"

PAC is so eye-catching to watch him perform such soaring moves and that isn't to downplay he's strength as well especially with he's compact stature he's capable of lifting wrestlers double his size with ease! Recently, he's role as "The Bastard" as really help showcase he's more evil side that was much needed not wanting to be typecast as the underdog anymore! Also, the bump he's willing to take on his body and make it look so nerve-wrecking is a feat all on its own!"

Incredible athleticism with levels of precision that are rarely seen. Add to that a commitment to his body and an intense work ethic, and he was truly one of the best wrestlers in the world. Rest in peace, Pac. Thanks for all the memories, you wonderful Bastard."
