I have watched several interviews of Ed Ferrara & Vince Russo & I think he is a very intelligent person for the business. Ed has had a lot of success in the television business & has a background of being a professional wrestler when he was younger."

What I *do* want to mention is the very first thing Ferrara said on the very first episode of NWA-TNA. Dude walks out onstage and goes, "I"m here for the TNA, and I don't mean Total Nonstop Action! " This is such a perfect little nutshell for this moron. He kills the joke, which was already fucking terrible, as soon as he possibly can because he's an enormous hack who literally isn't good at anything he tries, except kissing Vince Russo's ass. It honestly kinda pisses me off how much this noxious, lecherous little goblin got away with over the years, but I take comfort in knowing that Jim Cornette spit in his face that one time."

[0.0] "Ed is so bad that he could only come from one place, WCW, everything about him is garbage, both an outrageous copy of Jim Ross and Oklahoma. Because Vince Russo left the WWF due to "overwork" (which is obviously a lie, what moved him was money) he decided to see Herrara's "potential" and make HIGH QUALITY content and include it in the program, his character was born as a parody of Jim Ross, but a parody with malicious intent, mocking his way of speaking, his gestures, among several other personal things, this never had a place in a Professional program for the simple fact that it seeks to cause harm and encourage ridicule. And since Oklahoma was worse, honestly if you saw him for the first time you would never think that this guy knows about Wrestling and how to make matches, but in him they saw a great opportunity to make him a champion, the Championship that had this disgraceful fate was the Cruiserweight Championship... Yes, you read that right *read this with an awkward silence*... The Cruiserweight Championship... I'm going to say it again so you don't have any doubts... The Cruiserweight Championship, so many things wrong with this. He defeated Madusa for the title, not even Madusa was a good champion, he lost it in the most ridiculous way possible, he exceeded the weight limit... The good thing is that Ed only stayed in WCW and didn't try to go further."

[0.0] "Vinnie Ru's paper boy. When someone owes their whole career to person like Russo, you know it's messed up. Whole thing with JR and Oklahoma was disgusting and disrespectful as fuck. He went out and openly mocked the disease of one of most respected names in bussiness, just because JR had some words for Ed's boss Vince Russo. Ferrara's contribution to bussiness equals to my rating of him, and if I there were negative ratings below 0, I'd happily use them for Ed. As far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't have been in arenas as fan, let alone in backstage"

No, he had to one: develop an extremely tasteless gimmick in Oklahoma, something well-discussed so we don't need to go into it a great deal but still awful; get into racist feuds like the Pinata on a Pole match or the deeply misogynistic angle with Madusa in WCW; or wrestle terrible, ugly matches like, well, like Madusa, or in the Dupp Cup. Couple that with being a Vince Russo lickspittle and helping to prop up one of the worst creative minds in wrestling, and yeah, we can just throw Mr. Ferrara out with the trash."

Then he had to go and get the "genius" idea of mocking JR's illness that nearly ended the careers of the greatest announcer in wrestling. Plus his stupid hair in TNA. Waste of time."

[0.0] "Imagine being a long time professional like Jim Ross who has put years into a profession, and then some office hack brings along this butt boy stooge who then sits in the corner and whispers snide remarks behind your back. That's Ed Ferrara, the bitch butt boy of Vince Russo who had maybe 1 or 2 good ideas in 25 years and went so far as to mock JR's disability on TV. Ferrara contributed NOTHING positive to pro wrestling and openly insulted one of the most knowledgeable people in the business. [3.0] "Ferrara was an entertaining on-screen character for the most part, certainly not amazing or anything, but there were far more boring people on WCW TV in 1999 and 2000. As a creative member with strict constraints on him, I don't really see the issue with him. And as far as him mocking Jim Ross, that's the dumbest shit for fans to get mad over. JR's own boss and company did way more to mock his condition than Ferrara ever did, but you never hear Cornette talking about wanting to punch out Vince McMahon. Good Ol' JR was a ridiculous persona for a guy that had been a straight announcer for the past 15 years. Suddenly he wears a cowboy hat, screams catchphrases, and shills BBQ sauce? And he has a funny voice? Is anyone really surprised his ex-employers, a lot of whom had personal issues with him, found this funny? Regardless, Ferrara initially did the JR impression ON WWF TELEVISION, TO JR'S FACE, BEFORE TAKING AN INSANE BUMP FOR DR. DEATH. Quit getting so butt-hurt."

[0.0] "Ferrara has worked as a wrestler, as a commentator, and also behind the scenes, and amazingly managed to absolute suck in all of them. Ed Ferrara was not happy enough being a total piece of shit as a human being, he also had to suck in everything he attempted to do as well. Wrestling has had many carnies, guys with a VIP pass to hell and egomaniacal jerks, but some of them at the very least managed to actually do something good in the industry. Well, guess what? This absolute waste of space and Earth's resources is a carny, has a VIP pass to hell, is an egomaniacal jerk and did not contribute anything to the industry whatsoever. Every single fucking cell in his body is a waste. It amazes me that someone would take a look at this guy's resume in WCW and bring him in, but someone with in TNA tought it was a good idea. This guy was in the ring with the likes of Vampiro, Alundra Blayze and Steve Williams, and somehow does not have even a single memorable spot to his name. Judging by his work as a booker, I'd assume Ferrara has two brain cells:Chip and Dale. If I ever see this guy on the street, I will throw rocks at him."

[0.0] "Though he did have a minor in-ring career on the indies in the mid-'90s, Ferrara will always be most remembered as Vince Russo's creative sidekick during some of WCW's darkest days, and in particular, for his on-air role as one of the most distasteful characters in a major wrestling promotion (which is saying something) - "Oklahoma, " a truly mean-spirited mocking of Jim Ross. To make matters worse, the character was not only regularly featured, but actually pushed to a Cruiserweight Title run (albeit a short one), for no particular reason. After WCW he briefly resurfaced as a commentator for TNA on its first ten or so shows, but hasn't been seen around wrestling since - and that's probably for the best."

Ed Ferrara is right up there with the trashiest of the trashiest in pro wrestling's long history and a total embarrassment to the business."
