[9.0] "I've only seen his work as Mr. Olympia. Early 80's Masked babyface. Technically sound but knew how to make it flashy. Took NO GUFF. Looked in absolutely incredible shape, his matching mask & boots was a standout, even in it's simplicity. Ability to carry anyone and gel well with all - elevated the territories he was a part of and the business as a whole. Can you tell I'm a fan? ! If comparisons help: Something of a peak Brad Armstrong/peak Scott Casey hybrid in many ways, see also; pre peak Ricky Steamboat. If there are flaws: he was never a big time champion on a big time stage & he never wrestled the biggest names of the 80's (timing). That and a southern accent so dauntless, that it would have killed him anywhere north of Kentucky. Very watchable! 9.25 rounded down. EDIT: Alas, I finally saw some of his heel work. He is lost in the shuffle and does not stand out as a heel, there isn't much joy there. It's obvious that it was just not in his heart to be a bad guy. The baby face material is by far and away the better material. 8.75 rounded up."

[6.0] "well built natural body... a masked wrestler... not a top heel/babyface in a top promotion, but a guy you could credibily put as a tag partner to your best guys. someone you could put your lower singles title on and build a mid card feud around. wrestled the style popular in his day and did it quite well. didnt have a lot of charisma without the mask so definitely seemed better to me when he was in the mask"
