Mark Andrews

[6.0] "Truth be told, I never saw much in Mark Andrews. He had an incredible match with Chris Hero in 2016 (but who didn't? ) and did that skateboard rana in Impact that one time but he was otherwise just kind of there. A staple of early PROGRESS for sure, and he's had okay runs in PWG, Impact & NXT UK but I've just never seen anything out of him that was super impressive. Sometimes his bumping was ragdoll-like which is good when he's against a bigger striker (see: the Hero match) but there's only so much that can do for him as an otherwise standard highspot guy. But, fair play to him, he's managed to have a long and pretty fruitful career despite just barely being into his 30s and wasn't on the long list of BritWres guys that got outed as shitheads."

[5.0] "Back just before the britwres boom, Mark Andrews stood out as talented guy then as the scene developed, talent after talent moved past him and Mark Andrews just stood still. He has that WWE UK stink on him currently. Fair play to him though, Subculture are getting bookings even though they do nothing for me personally."

[7.0] "Mark is a good wrestler but his time in WWE wasn't good. I have no idea how they fucked up with him so bad. His team with Webster was about all he did. I think his upcoming match against Bey and Ace could be one of the best matches of the year as well. At least he has the NXT UK Tag Title win. His music is also pretty good."

[5.0] "An indy guy that does flips, has some interesting moves in his arsenal but I don't see much potential in him"

[7.0] "He's a great utility player & can work across all three minor brands (NXT, NTXUK, & 205). That said, he's likely got "forever jobber" stamped across his forehead. Every company needs some enhancement guys, so I don't think that is necessarily a terrible thing. But once you have the "loser" stigma, it's a hard thing to wash away. He's very likable, especially to the kids, so he's a good act to help get other heels over with. He's very solid in the ring & I think his gimmick is good. I'm not very fond of his very basic name though. The only thing worse is when they call him "Mandrews"."

[8.0] "Mandrews is a deceptively solid worker, as many just consider him to be another spot monkey. He works very well as an underdog, but his matches tend to fall apart when he's working the "big fight" type of matches popular at RPW and PWG"

[3.0] "Don't like him much at all, based on what I've seen to this point. His high flying offence is smooth enough and athleticism is impressive, but he looks so light jumping around into opponents. Like a fly. His strikes don't connect as well as some, I don't get much from his facial expressions or body language. He is a sympathetic face only based on what the heel does with him."

[8.0] "Mark Andrews is by no means a bad wrestler, but so much of what he does is done better by a lot of high-flyers. If you compare him to Will Ospreay or Ricochet his sequences and moves start to look somewhat outclassed. It makes sense that he has a comedic role in TNA but it's still consistently underwhelming to me. I have to give him so credit though as what he does do is pretty graceful and well-executed."

[8.0] "A good plucky, young underdog babyface. Tells a good story with high flying, davod vs goalith stories or comedy. Amazing how unimpressive he is in TNA compared to everywhere else."

[8.0] "one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world today i believe he is getting some good recognition in progress right now so thats good but its definitively been a long time coming"

[6.0] "from what ive seen in his more recent progress matches and pwg ones is that mandrews is an ok wrestler, doesn't really offer much that other high flyers don't and nowhere near the technical prowess of his peers in the UK. He does have however a good moveset that does not fail to get pops from crowds."

[9.0] "Mark is great, very technical mixed with outstanding high flying. Always entertaining on the British scene and now getting the chance to show it in PWG. TNA need to learn how to utilize him better because he really is a talent. Also a great mind for comedy, just go to one of his Attack shows which he is a co-owner of."

[10.0] "Tones of Charisma, great on the mic and is one of the best high flyers the UK has ever seen. He'll do just fine in the wrestling business. Also owns the Defend Indy Wrestling brand and has a very creative mind for the business which most people last these days. Has a decent toned but but is on the smaller side. Over the next year or two I'm sure he'll bulk up and look amazing!"
