[10.0] "Giving him a lower rating would be a slap in the face to everything he's done for WWE. He's one of the few who deserves so much but gets overlooked--just because. On the mic? Brilliant. Matches? Pure cinema. Rivalries? Masterfully done. Extreme spots? He's perfected the art. Fans have always loved him--whether he's a heel or a face, active or sidelined by injury. It's always a treat to see him in action. He recently returned from injury, won a #1 contender's match, and challenged CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Sami Zayn got in his way, and now we're waiting to see where it all goes from here. Can I mention other moments? Zayn's betrayal in NXT, winning the Universal Title, the feuds with Jericho, The Bloodline, and Rollins, and that huge moment--beating The Usos at WrestleMania. Sami vs. Owens? I hope Kevin Owens wins and continues his push to the top of the company."

[10.0] "He is currently the backbone of the company. I respect him greatly; he is a complete wrestler who hasn't received enough respect or appreciation from the company."

[10.0] "He's one of the GOATS. Kevin is an incredible wrestler who can adapt to any wrestling style and it will look incredibly cool. But what amazes me the most is his physique and his ability to work with it. Kevin always tries to make the match better for himself and his opponent, and he's more successful at it. And his promo skill is just something with something. There are an incredible number of segments and promos where Owens literally puts his soul into, and I think his promos are some of the most sincere in the business. His feuds with Jericho, Reigns, Cody and the icing on the cake is Sami Zayn. Kevin has been friends with and hates this man for more than 20 years at the same time, and every time a feud breaks out between them, they manage to take it to a new level."

[8.0] "He's always been a reliable worker who's able to put on a great match, but is also pretty good on the mic. He's a pretty big man, and I feel like that's a topic that's divided some people. I've always thought that him being big wasn't really a problem, but I can definitely understand how some people feel about it. I think he's had a pretty great career so far, and if he had retired after the neck injury, his career would still feel complete. However, I'm glad he's back as he's always fun to see on TV. 8.5/10, leaning towards 8."

[8.0] "Had a rather a pretty crummy start not worth talking about as his NXT run was honestly pretty forgettable and it took him some time to find his footing beyond being Y2J's BFF in 2017 but, other than that he's grown a lot and turned in a mighty fine worker. Great all-around guy to have."

[8.0] "We are so lucky to have Kevin Owens back on our TV screen. He is one of those guys where you could put him anywhere on the show with no issues. I'm glad he going to be in a main event feud again."

[10.0] "Kevin is one of the best wrestlers of all-time in my opinion, and certainly since the 2010s. No matter where he went, whether he is Steen or Owens, he has made a major impact. Not only is he an all-around great talent, an excellent brawler, athletic for his size, and can do some impressive technical and chain work, but he is charismatic as all hell. As a face or a heel, he knows how to steal the show, no matter the role he is given. It's hard to not praise what he has done."

I know not everyone can be the champ, but KO feels so rudderless right now. Owens used to be all about the title and the money. It's not personal. Now he's just flat and it's entirely due to booking. [8.0] "I started to really like him when he finally changed his gear to the long tights. As good as he was in the ring the oversized mesh shorts just killed his vibe for me. It has nothing to do with physique. It's professionalism. That said, I still enjoyed his matches and his best work was ROH up until 2017. After the feud with Jericho he did a lot of things but none of it was ground breaking."

[9.0] "Full package. Great promo, wrestling skills, matches, feuds, just everything. Very good worker. His energy is infectious, but his yelling promos in WWE are almost a bit too much."

[10.0] "Kevin Owens is genuinely at least an 8 out of 10 in just about every aspect of pro wrestling. Even with his size he's able to do some of the craziest moves I've seen. He's a great face and heel and can cut an excellent promo. I miss him so much."

[10.0] "Kevin Owens is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. There is quite literally nothing in this business that he can't do. Need a solid midcarder? Done. Need a believable main eventer? Done. Need him to make someone else look like a monster? Done. Hell, you can throw him in comedic storylines and he'll still find a way to make it work, dude could go out there and wrestle a broom for 3 hours and still find a way to make it entertaining. On top of that he can go in the ring like nobody's business and is one of the best modern day promos i've ever seen. I really hope we get to see him win another world championship if/when he recovers from his neck injury because it seems criminal that he's only had 1."

[9.0] "Kevin Owens is one of the most consistently great wrestlers of his generation. No matter the opponent or the spot on the card, his matches always feel physical, believable, and purposeful. He can brawl, wrestle, work a crowd, and cut elite promos without ever feeling forced. While he doesn't always get the big marquee wins his performances deserve, his longevity, adaptability, and match quality across multiple eras put him comfortably among the best. A true all-around worker who elevates everything he's involved in."

[9.0] "Should've went to the dub and I'm not ashamed to say it. The WWE is kind of unable to write him properly in a PG setting, Steen was at his coolest when he was with S.C.U.M. and a total bastard. His tag match against the Usos still holds up regardless. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time and I will never forget his work if he essentially retires after this most recent neck injury. I truly hope he can return and have some kick ass matches."

[9.0] "Owens is one of those dudes that will put his body on the line to really sell a feud. There's been so many time I've been meh on one of his stories, only for him to take some insane bump or do a memorable enough spot that I'm suddenly locked in."

"(10.0) I love Kevin Owens. His current gimmick is great, his matches are as good as ever, the way he brings belivability BACK into pro wrestling is what astounds me. In a world of black and white, Kevin is always the blur between and he conveys that through his promowork. His matches with Cody & Sami were excellent, and his work in the past with Sami vs. The Usos. Whenever he worked with the Briscoes, or against Cena, he's worked with so much talent and claws a way to be the biggest star in the math. Get well soon, I miss you!"

[10.0] "He's just one of the best at what he does. Kevin Owens brings a unique mix of intensity, authenticity, and storytelling that few can match. Whether he's on the mic or in the ring, his presence elevates everything around him. During his time away, fans and fellow wrestlers alike felt that void because when KO's not there, you notice. The wrestling community truly missed his energy, his passion, and the unpredictability he brings to every show. Few performers connect on such a real level, and that's what makes Kevin Owens so special."

[6.0] "Kevin Owens truly had all the traits to be a top face of the company: charisma, great ring skills, excellent mic skills, and a unique character. But WWE didn't appreciate him, turning him into a pathetic chicken-heel. As a result, after his failed Universal Championship run, he never rose above that. Although he can be good both as a heel and as a face. He can be a destroyer heel with painful moves, or a cool, fighting face capable of going to the last drop. He's his own man--an ideal character. But in the company, they only humiliated him, keeping him in the role of a jobber and a filler for title matches when there are no opponents. Owens had many interesting moments where he could have switched things up (returning to NXT in 2019, the battle with The Fiend, destroying Shane McMahon). But none of that changed anything for him. They kept burying him. For some reason, they even buried him to Steve Austin at WM38, when it was an ideal chance to pass the torch. Why can Corbin beat Angle in the last match of the second, but Owens can't? Plus, Owens was made to look like an idiot. He's an active wrestler who legitimately lost to a veteran who hadn't been in the ring for about 20 years (or more than 15, correct me if I'm wrong). He had many chances to take the title from Reigns, but they never let him. They just gave him tag titles with Zayn as a bone, a handout--to make it look like he's on the company's roster. They didn't even give him the US title at WM40, and we were content with Logan Paul's win when it could've been a WM moment. Or even a Benua-Guerrero moment where Sami and Kevin win titles on the same show. The only right move would've been for him to go to another promotion, like AEW. He had nothing to gain in WWE. But he chose to re-sign with WWE just to show off his Lamborghini on social media. I don't have the right to judge Owens for that, but I doubt he would've switched to a bicycle if he went to AEW. In the end, we see a brilliantly talented wrestler's career wasted. And we don't even know if he'll return. And do we even need him to? The cool Owens was still in 2015 when he debuted and destroyed John Cena. Over time, he started having empty, robotic matches."

[10.0] "When I think of a true wrestler, I think of Kevin Steen. Yeah, I could call him Kevin Owens, but I won't for the sake of this review because there is so much more to him than his WWE work. He has all the qualities you could ever ask for in a wrestler. His in ring is awesome, as are his mic skills. The stunner and package pile driver are cool moves, but by god, the Steenalizer is some insane shit. I understand why he retired it, but I really hope we see it in WWE at least once. Please Kevin. Please."

[10.0] "Most of the times looks are in fact not deceiving. But for Kevin? It sure is. He is living proof that you don't need 8 packs or a chiseled body to be a great wrestler or a showman. Ever since that incredible debut match with John, he has been a reliable worker who can put up bangers even putting his own body on the line. He's also got the gift of the gab, what else does a wrestler really need? Kevin really does need one more main-event title run before he hangs up the boots, it'd be such injustice to him if he doesn't for all he's done for the company post 2015."

[9.0] "Kevin Owens is the embodiment of a fan's wrestler. Raw, relatable, and never afraid to take risks. From his Steen days to WWE, he's mastered both the mic and the ring, blending high-risk offense with sharp psychology. Sure, WWE has sometimes boxed him in, making his spots feel formulaic, but he still brings authenticity to every promo and match. Whether face or heel, Owens connects like few others. A true Canadian gem."

[10.0] "One of my genuine favourites of all time. There are a lot of reasons I love Owens for. He's one of the best examples of an Indy wrestler getting a chance at WWE as he managed to cope with the style while keeping his own unique style in. He's promo abilities are great, he has a great moveset and he understands in ring psychology. His feud with Zayn is some of the best work I've ever seen as the two have so much chemistry together. Owens is a complete package, to say the least"

He's had great runs in PWG, ROH, CZW, etc. Later he joined WWE (renaming himself to Kevin Owens) where he was a key player in 2015-2016 NXT. Steen had one of the greatest rivalries in pro wrestling (against El Generico aka Sami Zayn)."

[10.0] "Whatever people might say, Kevin Steen/ Owens, is one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, bell to bell or on the mic.There won't ever be another Kevin Owens and people should enjoy his ride while it lasts."

[7.0] "I'm only writing this because it won't let me rate it because I'm in the minority. Owens is greay worker. When he's good, it's so entertaining. But he was never really GREAT to me or anything. He's character work is great tho. Especially when he's heel. Not to say much. He's just appreciatable. Not much to criticize either. I'm just not too big on him"

His Steen days was filled with banger feuds with the Bricoes and El Generico (Wonder what happened to him? ) that result with great promo work and matches. His run in WWE and new run as a heel have been so fun to watch. Since his heel turn at Bad Blood, he has gone on A RUN! 5 star matches, intense stipulations, a CM Punk "Real AEW Title" esque run, it's just awesome."

[10.0] "Few people over the past 15 (maybe 20) years can even be in the same conversation as Kevin Owens/Steen in terms of understanding what it means to be a pro wrestler. At a minimum, for his time in WWE, he has basically constantly been interesting."

It's a genuine pleasure to get to watch him on a weekly basis, both as a character and in-ring performer. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have the traditional look of a star, and that may of held him back at times. Regardless, he will still go down in history as a legend of the business."

Promo skills are above average, and I love his matches, but he will never have the look of a top star"

[10.0] "One of the best Wrestler in WWE, and also in the world, I don't think there is anyone in WWE who can do what KO does, even if you put KO against a trashcan, he will carry it to a good feud and matches, because of how he gives all his power in his programs, he's my pick to dethrone Cody."

"[6.0] I like to rate wrestlers on three criteria. Wrestling ability, promo skills, look/charisma. I rate him an eight on wrestling ability, as he can have a good match with just about anyone. I also rate his promo skills at an eight since he can cut great promos when needed. However, I have to grade him a one in the third category as he looks like a regular guy walking down the street and doesn't look like a real threat compared to the rest of the roster. After averaging the numbers and rounding them up, it comes to a rating of six. I don't see this number improving anytime soon with this career slowing down, but I hope he proves me wrong."

[9.0] "Witty promos, heartfelt speeches, big matches, memorable moments. Owens has all of them. A brilliant worker that stands out even amidst groups of talented people. You can always count on Kevin Owens giving a good match."
