[5.0] "She is strange. Better as a indie wrestler than being hired honestly. Had a decent run at WWE and never did that much in AEW, mostly because the booking of that promotion for female wrestlers is pure dogshit if you're not an Toni Storm type. But well, that is it."

[6.0] "Ruby is a good wrestler, and provides good matches. I like her and her character a lot... a pity she never found 100% good booking and favorable situations."

[6.0] "I really want to like Ruby Soho. The only problem is while she stands out, she doesn't have the charisma of a star and doesn't have much of a presence. She honestly just feels small in most of things she's involved in. Unfortunately her matches don't stand out and aren't that good either. I hope she has a good pregnancy and improves when she gets back."

[5.0] "Another one that people think WWE are misusing but once you see them in a new environment you realise that actually her spot was about right. She doesn't have a high ceiling in terms of match quality but is a fairly dependable hand when in with somebody comparable. Her look at least sets her out as something different. She is still currently trying to recover from being in the worst stable in AEW history and think of the ground that covers."

[5.0] "Ruby is as average as a female wrestler gets in my opinion. Average on the mic, average in the ring, has an average character. Guess you could call her 'mid' (same term meaning). There are times where Ruby puts on a good match, and then those times where she puts on a mediocre match, nothing exactly special in the ring but nothing bad at all. I can see her being a future TBS champion, and maybe even world champion if she's able to get over and booked better but for now, she's recovering from being associated with [name redacted] and the stable known as The Outcasts, which I have reiterated many times is, at least in my opinion, one of the worst stables in AEW history."

Initally, in WWE (NXT) I did not think too much of her, and when she came to AEW I thought she might do better as a lot of wrestlers have done. However, she is like Shawn Spears and is actually worse outside of WWE, and it highlighted her problems are her own."

[1.0] "I never saw the hype and I don't think I ever will. She's always been mid to me, ever since her WWE days as Ruby Riott. I personally believe that she's been the weakest link in all of the factions that she's been in and needs to stop getting overhyped/overpushed."

[4.0] "Ruby Soho as a performer has never surpassed adequate to me. No character alignment ever seems to really work with her and she never seems to have as good a match as I was expecting going in."

[4.0] "Ruby is a botch machine to say the least. Her matches are usually boring. On worst of all, she keeps trying to make that "disaster kick" like something lethal, it just looks akward."

[7.0] "I was always on the fence about Ruby. On one hand, she was one of the most well respected womens indie wrestlers as heidi, and had been around forever. On the other hand, I never really understood her in-ring style. But there was one match that changed it all for me. Her match with Josh Alexander at AAW. I saw that live, and now I'm a bigger Ruby Soho fan. Get her out of the outsiders, though. that gimmick sucks."

[6.0] "Sadly, Ruby has been a MAJOR bust in AEW. She seems like everything she touches turns to crap. She has been that bad. You can't remember any of her matches, her feuds are bad, I can only remember her getting beat up a lot, not one fan wanted to see her in the Finals of the Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournament (That should be an eye opening wake up call right there). It goes on & on. The only good thing that she has done in AEW is have that memorable promo battle with Dr. Britt Baker DMD. Ruby should have either turned heel in AEW or she should have gone to IMPACT Wrestling. She actually would have been an excellent fit in IMPACT. UPDATED: Ruby Soho has finally made the Heel turn that I knew was going to come eventually, because she sorely needed it. Her run as a Babyface in AEW was pretty TRASH as I had explained previously. She is definitely supposed to be on Team "Outsiders" in the "Originals vs. Outsiders" AEW Women's division storyline that I expect will lead to the first ever Women's Blood & Guts War Games match over the Summer of 2023."

[0.0] "Ruby represents the generation of wrestlers, who received too much love for unknown reasons (maybe because they are from indy and that's all). I don't understand why she is on TV. AEW's women's division is a weak link and Ruby makes it weakier because of her constant sloppiness."

[6.0] "Ruby is someone who is great when all the conditions are right. In the right match, with the right opponent, in the right feud she's one of my favorites. However, she is not in that position all the time, and her AEW run is probably the best example of this. She has some good matches and moments but it will be like three weeks before you see her again. Her best matches are in indies where she had room to develop or in the carefully curated wwe. I think she's a fun character and should be welcome on any promotion's midcard, but I struggle to think of any memorable matches A- gimmick/look, D+ in ring, C on promos"

[7.0] "Ruby can be kind of hit or miss in the ring. Sometimes she's not on and it shows. But sometimes she looks completely credible. I think she's one of those people who just needs the right opponent to mesh with, and she can't carry somebody weaker than her, which is fine. She's very charismatic though-- one of the better talkers in AEW, and somebody who can carry a good story along. She's also very over with the live audiences."

[9.0] "Ruby is great. Gets a lot of unjust hate from people who only watch her Britt Baker matches. Every where else she's been smooth and fun to watch. Great look, great move set, fantastic theme. Love Ruby"

[6.0] "She feels more like a natural valet than a wrestler in her own right. She was reasonably good charisma and mic skills, but she wrestles too far underneath, like a face jobber, rather than someone in the upper midcard."

[10.0] "Ruby is very competent. Talented, agile, technical, fast, she knows how to sell her moves, apply them in an even better way, she has a peculiar style which makes things even more fun. She is perfect in my opinion. There's nothing to improve. It simply should be better utilized and I hope it will be the next champion after Jamie Hayter."

[7.0] "Ruby is very good in the ring. Charisma is not an issue with Ruby either. Booking and injuries have harmed her more than herself."

[5.0] "Liked her run in AEW ar first but Ruby is very boring to me now. In general I just was never a fan of anyone in the Riott Squad."

[6.0] "Decent midcard worker, not overly smooth but doesn't botch alot either. Has an appealing look and character. Her promo work seems to be looking wild eyed at the camera and fuming. I like her ok, but not invested in whether she wins or loses."

[2.0] "Massively overrated. She has an over-the-top look, is average in the ring, and has a generic/lackluster moveset. Of all the ex-WWE stars Khan has signed to his bloated roster, she is one of the worst and most unnecessary."

[6.0] "Ruby Soho is a competent worker in all regards but lacks the firey babyface comeback or promo to be believably seen as a women's champion in any promotion."

[5.0] "She's not bad in the ring but I totally don't see the appeal many fans have towards her. Yes she was let go from WWE and that's sad but her work outside and inside of WWE doesn't really impress me to be honest."

[4.0] "One of the most overrated wrestlers in the world. She has a cool look and it ends there. Average worker at best and a bad promo."

[3.0] "She has a great look, and was always pointed out as an example of WWE squandering a talent. I gave her a chance because of her look, mannerisms in the ring and because she clearly has a lot of natural charisma. But other than easily getting the crowd behind her, she isn't very good. What I thought was just an off night on her debut and first singles match turned into many "off nights", until I finally realized she just isn't that good in the ring. I really wanted her to be one of my favorite wrestlers, but her timing is terrible, most of her offense looks weak and despite being given lots of chances of having good matches, she only had one decent match since she debuted in AEW last year. Probably one of my biggest disappointments in AEW."

[4.0] "She has a really good punk-rock look and great entrance theme, but that is it, nothing else except being crappy in the ring."

[4.0] "Was interested to see what she'd do outside of WWE but she hasn't delivered. Should be noted she had a pretty serious injury to her shoulder/s so maybe her best days are behind her."

[7.0] "Ruby's had a varied career and it often depends on where she works and how healthy she's been. The current lower ratings betray how excellent she was as Heidi Lovelace in the 2010s. For me, her absolute best work was in Chikara and Shimmer. Once she made it to the 'E and christened as Ruby Riott things became a mixed bag. Very underrated NXT run where she really should've had a drawn out feud with Asuka. The early portion of her main roster run was decent as she had some notable matches with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. Once injuries set in, they took a toll on her in-ring work as she struggled with ring rust. Still think she should've at least had a run with the tag titles. AEW has been so-so, with some performances being better than others. She is very over with the crowd and I think she'll have a breakout performance in time. Her return to the indies, however, has been impressive. Particularly wrestling intergender matches again after so long. Her bouts with Alex Shelley and Josh Alexander from late 2021 represented a real return to form and proof that she still has plenty to offer."

[6.0] "She's decent, but not champion level. I dunno, I've always been a fan of her's but I'll admit she isn't really worthy of being anywhere near the main event. She actually came in at a great time because she can take the TBS title away from Jade what's her name and have a few solid reigns with that. That being said, I don't think she's as bad of and in-ring worker as everyone is saying she is, she can actually have decent matches fairly consistently, it's just unfortunate her work in AEW hasn't been up to par compared to her past matches which makes her lose a few points."

[5.0] "Meh. That's how I feel about Ruby. I think she only works as a character due to the immense crowd support, probably due to relating to her underdog story. That said, she's average at best in most capacities and can be quite sloppy."

[5.0] "Not a bad wrestler, but certainly not a good one. I haven't seen any of her supposedly good new or old indy matches, but everything thus far in AEW has been severely underwhelming. It doesn't help with how green and outright poor the majority of the AEW women's roster is, but there have still been plenty of moments in plenty of matches where Soho has looked totally amateurish and out of place. For all that hype that came in with her when she joined AEW, she's lived up to absolutely zero of that. She has very mediocre offence, sloppy transitions, sloppy movement, and clearly isn't even capable of leading the more inexperienced wrestlers to any sort of a somewhat decent match. Oh, and her selling has been incredibly melodramatic and off-putting at times, showing that either she hasn't brushed off her training from her NXT days, OR she's actually just naturally far better suited for the over-the-top style of NXT. If not for her colourful and unique 'punk' look then she would be totally forgotten about. She can still work to an acceptably mediocre level every now and then, but she better start having some better matches or at least putting out some better performances against more talented wrestlers soon, because otherwise the rest of the AEW women's roster will drag her down lower and lower."

[6.0] "She's decent and not much more. I think her run in AEW is showing that. She's overrated by much of the internet. I think she's ok in the ring nothing special, she had a good back and forth with Britt Baker so its some promo ability there."

[6.0] "She seems like a nice woman and can have a decent match with just about anybody, but decent is all she is. The future women's megastar that WWE massively overlooked she is not, she's just a fairly alright midcarder with a unique look & passable promo skills (but then again, this is already better than more than half the current women's division)."

[5.0] "I really don't see IT from her that a lot of people are telling that she has. Don't get me wrong, she's not bad at all, especially in AEW women's division where there is not a lot established wreslter, a lot of potential but no big stars besides Britt and mby Rosa, but she really was just a ok performer and not a lot of a character. Her character is "I'm girl who likes punk and I was poorly threated by WWE so I'm emotional after every match". I hope she can change my view on her and become one of the best women's wrestler in world, but for now she is just ok."

[4.0] "Seen enough of her in AEW now to determine that she's just not very good. Her charisma seems to come down to tattoos and sticking her tongue out a lot. In the ring she basically just relies on kicks because anything else she attempts has a 50/50 chance of going wrong. She is an easy to root for babyface though. Maybe it'll click someday."

[8.0] "Ruby is talented, a great wrestler, sadly wwe didn't have faith on her.She has a cool aura about her, fantastic on the mic, great character portray, very charismatic, and pretty good moveset, showed great chemistry with some girls in wwe.However, i find her too slow for a no technichal wrestler, specially when she is running or trying some highflying spot, and she was kinda sloppy sometimes.But still a great wrestler, her pelé kick and senton variations were superb, pretty innovative and creative, very underrated, could have been nxt womens champion at least."

[10.0] "Formerly known as Heidi Lovelace, and in WWE as Ruby Riott, the newly renamed Ruby Soho is one of the best babyface wrestlers of the last decade, yet somehow WWE never really capitalised, as she was mostly a heel during her run there. Soho generates incredible sympathy through her selling and facial reactions, and has great, believable comebacks, and can also lead a match really well, and gained the respect of the WWE locker room when she was there. Excited to see what's next, as it's "Destination Unknown". UPDATE September 2021 - it's Destination AEW. Hope she's better utilised there than in WWE, winning the Casino Battle Royale was a good start."

[8.0] "Ruby Riott, as I always knew her, is a very good wrestler. She is solid in ring, and has a decent number of good matches under her belt. She's a decent promo, able to convey legitimate emotion as a face, or to make you hate her as a heel. She has a fantastic, unique look that catches your attention. What makes her stick out to me the most however, is her selling. Her facial expressions when she is selling are so on point, and it makes you sympathize with her. Not a lot of wrestlers have that ability to garner sympathy through their selling, and especially their facials. She works best as a babyface but works well enough as a heel too. A complete package, and it's a damn shame she and Morgan didn't get a taste of those tag team titles during her time in WWE."

[5.0] "she's okay. When she first debuted there was hype but she kinda bungled that by exposing her limitations in a match with Asuka and Cross where she looked at out of her depth. The Riott squad was always terrible but I don't blame her much for that. Would have been better on NXT and develop her ability as a singles wrestler. Can't think of any good matches she had, I like the deadly night shade, and she had a unique which could have worked had she been given more of a spotlight."

[4.0] "I only know her from the WWE main roster so I can't speak to her previous accomplishments, however since the debut and subsequent destruction of the Riot Squad she hasn't done much of note and now isn't even the leader in her own group. The matches that I watched with her in them seem a little sloppy, but that could be because of the lack of TV time they give her. Hopefully things start to look up in the future for her and Liv Morgan given they are one of the only actual tag teams in the division."

[6.0] "Just average and totally forgettable. She occasionally gets into the title picture but never feels like she will have a match that gets you interested in her."

[5.0] "I have only followed he in the main roster and although I know she can be good, she has only shown it a few times. It doesn't help her that WWE treats her as trash and a second grade wrestler. She was also forced to jobbed to Ronda Rousey."

[6.0] "She is a solid worker and striker and great on the mic. She can sell well, which is fortunate given the trajectory of her career. Check out her match stats if you want to see why wins and losses matter. Unfortunately for Ruby, on the main roster her faction served the role of jobbers. The Riott Squad became the Washington Generals of RAW in very short order. Their win percentage was little better than a Dale Wolfe and their defeats as comprehensive as those suffered by Iron Mike Sharpe. While she briefly got a main event push, for over a year she has been booked as being too small and weak-willed to defend herself properly and almost always loses cleanly. Mentally, her foes are always able to thwart her strategies, which just leads to even more decisive humiliations and defeats. Wins and losses matter, even in a simulated combat sport. The fact that the collective efforts of Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan were unable to overcome even a lone middle-aged midcarder in Natalya tells you all you need to know what the WWE thinks edgy ? alternative? women who portray themselves as outsiders: total weaklings and losers. If the WWE was real, you could not even allow Sarah Logan or Ruby Riott in the ring as they are completely incapable of defending themselves. INot coincidentally, the blonde member of the Riott Squad who fits the WWE vision of a distaff performer was plucked from the ranks of the Riott Squad and given a push. In the process, she was given an opportunity to physically overmaster and run off her physically inferior colleagues. Ruby Riotts fate in the WWE is sealed. Not booked as even sufficiently formidable to serve as a gatekeeper to the mid card, she would be wise to investigate other opportunities to wrestle where she is not booked as a sickly and defenseless clown, who is weak in body and in mind. I hope she bails before sharing the fate of Sarah Logan, who in her sendoff match with Bayzler before being fired was subjected to the most malicious and uncomfortable to watch career destruction imaginable. We must all hope that Ruby is not sent off on a stretcher after being instantly defeated and maimed, weeping inconsolably after being booked more weakly than the stuffed bear toy I used to suplex."
