[1.0] "(at least partially) Authentic Indigenous American: Wahoo McDaniel. ENTIRELY FRADULENT Native American: This jerk. He sucks. More overrated CRAP from McMahonland. Half point for putting over Greg Valentine and his figure four. Because I love Greg Valentine. Otherwise, f#ck this guy. Zero point five rounded up, not a fan."

[10.0] "I'm probably the only one old enough to comment on the barefoot high flyer 'Joltin' Joe Scarpa. He was like a combination of Rocca & Mascaras. Don't get me wrong I loved The Chief, but as far as pure ringwork went, Scarpa's best work was as Joltin' Joe. In the early 1960's, when he was still going by Scarpa, he had a successful tag team with Lester Welch. Why is that significant? Welch was actually from Pawhuska, Oklahoma. For those of you who only saw the Valentine feud, it's pretty hard to imagine "Strongbow" hitting flying head and body sciissors, monkey flips, missle and flying dropkicks and somersaults off the turnbuckle. He also had a program with Greg's dad, when he was Joltin' Joe. If you catch his early 70's work in the WWWF, he still breaks out aerial spots in his repetoire. In fact, when he came to the WWWF in 1970, he was the territories top high flyer. He was incredibily popular during the Pedro Morales reign and Bruno's second reign. He was strong enough with the fans, that he could have merited a title run by either beating Stasiak or Koloff. A premier tag wrestler, who generated excitment with a long list of partners, winning the WWWF belt with three different partners. He successfully managed several long term feuds. He was an older wrestler by the time he came to the WWWF, but the gimmick was golden. The headress, the war dance, tomahawk chops, and sleeper hold finisher, were all iconic. Only Bruno connected to the crowd the way Stronbow did. He moved well, even at that age, bouncing off the ropes, flying in and out of the ring, and of course, baseball sliding under opponents. He had an established body of work before coming to the WWF and ultimately became Superstar Billy Graham's consistent number one contendor. He wound down his career by helping several rising villains get wins and ultimately as a road agent. When you look at the entire career: Joltin' Joe, Chief Jay and the behind the scenes road agent, he is truly one of the immortals in the business. RIP."

[2.0] "Sweet mother of God. Let me preface by saying that I have been watching wrestling for about 30 years at this point and could watch Terry Funk vs Harley Race every day, I do like 70s and 80s wrestling (done right). I have never in my life seen a more pathetic performance in wrestling ring, than from this sorry individual. I am looking for 2 main things in a wrestler 1) is he believable 2) (even if he is not believable) am I entertained by him? Strongbow is absolutely none of these things, not even remotely. That pathetic excuse for a war dance, stupid head shaking, feet flipping and flopping around - if Monty Pythons ever did a sketch like this, with someone behaving like that, they would not air it, because they would say - well that was just way too silly, even as an absurd mockery (and I do like Monty Pythons and absurd comedy, but strongbow was not supposed to be funny). His physique is atrocious, his wrestling moves consist of never ending flipping of his hand, barely touching his unfortunate opponent s chest, a passable sleeper, shaking of his head and other series of seizures and convulsions. Have a look at Wahoo for comparison (sorry Wahoo) - he acts like he means it, he looks like he could hurt you and not like some mental asylum escapee who did not take his meds. Seriously, Strongbow is the worst wrestler I have ever seen and I have been to some very amateurish local shows around both UK and Australia, but the worst person there worked like Bret Hart in comparison to this guy. I guess if you were 6 years old when you watched him with your grandmother, you might have thought- oh look, a guy in a headdress dancing funny- and you have fond memories of that - I can understand where you re coming from."
