06.06.2025 | BlockBlockBlock | 2.0 | I don't get the high grades here. This is probably the weakest Joshi company ever in existence. I don't get why this promotion is given so much praise. It's just kind of a hokey joke promotion that is considered amazing. It's very odd how Emi Sakura was responsible for Ice Ribbon but most of the roster wouldn't even make it on dark matches for that company. I'm an Emi Sakura defender. She's done a lot for Japanese women's wrestling but this company isn't it. It could've been cool. Have another great Joshi promotion in a competitive and strongly built time in women's wrestling but most of the competitors are lacking in the skills to put on a great match and those that can would be better off in another company that uses them to their full potentials.

24.05.2025 | Open The Vault | 7.0 | I started watching ChocoPro / GatohMove this year and I can honestly say they have been nothing less than impressive. It's free to watch and you get consistently good professional wrestling from this promotion. A very creative promotion that uses odd venues to add charm and identity to it. A very silly promotion that any hardcore wrestling fan should give a try. [***3/4]

It has in-ring shows they upload for free as well if you can't into the Ichigaya mat wrestling shows. It's goofy and beautiful and has something for everyone |
29.01.2025 | tlaustin | 6.0 | I am not the target audience, but I have a lot of respect for how off-the-wall it is, as well as how the unique locations force wrestlers to be creative and often-times hyper controlled with their movements. I can't ever see myself "getting into" ChocoPro but I love to be a tourist of it every now and then.

I know in Japan there are more stupid things with DDT, BBW and other Promotions, but it is done with a real ring or in more credible scenarios. A chocolate-colored mattress in a tiny room makes it look very stupid and childish. It has its audience, but it's not for me. Mei Suruga and Emi Sakura are amazing. But mostly Mei makes me want to watch her matches but that doesn't happen in ChocoPro because of the setting. When your shows are held with a ring, I watch it with great pleasure. |

11.07.2023 | rgpick | 9.0 | I've been watching through the entirety of what is available on their YouTube channel, starting with season 1. I'm currently about halfway through season 11 and I can safely say that Gatoh Move/Chocopro is one of the great unsung promotions in wrestling. Yes, they don't normally utilize a ring and yes, this means they have certain limitations. But those limitations help bring about some of the absolute best characters and stories you will find anywhere in wrestling. No matter if you have a show where they bring in semi-regulars like Chris Brookes or Kaori Yoneyama or some of the terrific home grown talent such as the wonderful Mei Suruga, Baliyan Akki, or Chie Koishikawa, the shows are always an absolute blast. And the best part is is that you can catch it all for free on YouTube as they operate on donations. If you're looking to see what can be done outside of the normal confines of Pro Wrestling, give this promotion a chance. Go into it with an open mind and you won't be disappointed.

After watching Gatoh Move, it seems like all my assumptions about what wrestling is "supposed to be" have been shown the door. I would have thought that an in-person, reacting audience at the very least is core to wrestling's appeal, but after watching ChocoPro I'm not so sure. It feels like all the unnecessary faff in wrestling has been removed, and only what's actually important remains. Having a laugh, it turns out. Great promotion |

10.03.2023 | markorollo | 10.0 | Gatoh Move/Chocopro is one of my favourite promotions because it has something for everyone. Their main shows are unique and memorable, featuring a great mix of wrestling stretching across the whole spectrum of types. You get comedy wrestling, brutal brawls, high flying displays, and technical showcases across a huge variety of matches. If wrestling on a mat isn't your thing, they run a more traditional in-ring show every month for Gatoh Move which is also all free. No other promotion can really boast of having intensely emotional storytelling like Lulu Pencil vs Chris Brookes, or hilarious comedy with Ryo Mizunami vs Mei, or amazing in-ring displays like Mei vs Yunamon from Phoenix Rises (one of my favourite wars from 2022). There are so many incredible matches, with such a huge variety of types, and it's all available for free. Have a look at some of their more notable events and see if there's something for you.

20.09.2022 | GNozaki | 8.0 | A very creative promotion, with a limited budget. Its usual local, in Ichigaya, kinda forces wrestlers to be entertaining without the overused spots that used ropes and posts. It causes wrestlers to do more roll-up moves or standing strikes, as well as letting them focus on the storytelling through the fight itself. The booking sometimes can be a little stale lately, because it's very likely that the more senior wrestler will defeat the junior wrestler but, at least, the fight itself will be very good.
21.08.2022 | comewhatmay927 | 3.0 | I just don't understand the appeal of this promotion. Maybe its a cultural thing, but I don't even think it qualifies as wrestling. The lack of a ring makes all the competitiors (as talented as they are) appear to be wrestling in the living room while their parents are away.
09.07.2022 | WU20 | 6.0 | Once upon a time, it was a worthy watch company. But now it doesnt care about It's poor booking system. Didn't try to improve a slight. So decreasing ratings.
25.06.2022 | tresgrumpy | 10.0 | I get more pure enjoyment from Gatoh Move and ChocoPro than almost anything else. Stalwart friend through the pandemic, with fun weekly shows and a really nice community around it. The wrestling is also terrific. The aesthetics of chocopro, and Ichigaya, put a lot of people off, but look past it (or embrace it) and you'll see great technical wrestling, and wrestlers who, due to the space and format, use the space in really creative and exciting ways.

01.06.2022 | EleceRock | 5.0 | It's onbviously a promotion directed to a specific target audience that may like their product, this promotion is not precisely bad but the ratings are extremely exagerated, is not on the level of promotions like Stardom, Seadlinnng, Ice Ribbon, but somehow they have almost the same rating, but well, that's democracy for you.

01.05.2022 | u100 | 9.0 | If you can become a great wrestler in the walls of a tiny office and a mat, it's proof you can succeed anywhere. Some of the best wrestlers cut their teeth under Emi Sakura's training inside Ichigaya Chocolate Square and Chocopro is the latest iteration of her stint as a promoter. The chaos and the surprisingly fantastic wrestlers has led to a cult following that kept Gatoh Move alive through their toughest days. Some won't like it but it's free and easily accessible which not a lot of joshi can say.

30.09.2021 | Suzukigun | 8.0 | It's fun, creative, unconventional and different. That means it's not for everyone, but those who like it tend to love it. | 100 | 04.09.2021 | Damian | 0.0 | I really don't get this. I tried watching it a few times, but watching more than an hour of Gatoh Move/ChocoPro seems like torture to me. I still did it out of morbid curiosity as to why people are interested in this little YouTube Show. And I still don't get it, hell, I might get it even less than before. It's just women (and a few men) with ok-ish ring skills and terrible "comedy" gimmicks wrestling in an apartment with no ring and no fans. It's extremely weird and borders on non-wrestling IMO.
