I would like to see UK get a title reign at some point down the line, though, as they have the potential to revitalize the Trios Title scene.

Wheeler Yuta, heat magnet that he is, does a lot of heavy lifting in terms of keeping the crowd invested, isolating and cheating to keep O'Riley locked in the corner of the champs. I don't think anyone really expected the trios belts to exchange, but lord am I glad it happened anyways just to see a Roderick Strong hot tag. This became somewhat chaotic fairly quickly, and while I don't know it ever felt like a title match, this was a fine and fun trios match that AEW usually does very well. I really enjoyed the finish, even if it did keep the titles on the Riders.

After three months of having the belts on ice, the energy was lacking a bit here and felt like there is a much better match that could have been here. The Death Riders worked really methodically, but not in a bad ass tearing the challengers apart kind of way, it was just dull and hurt the flow of action. Positively the last five minutes were put together really nicely with Cole getting the hot tag and everything breaking down towards the finish. Cole has regained a lot of his aura since getting the trio back together, Claudio is still always going to deliver when paired with smaller guys. Solid match by the end with a screwy finish to continue the feud of The Death Riders holding titles hostage. ***
