[8.0] "Just like Drilla Moloney has been doing, Oleg Boltin continues to impress me in recent performances. He may not have won here like Moloney has been doing recently, but he's still looking really good and he's another person I'm looking forward to seeing grow. As for Takagi, I've loved him for a long time, so, of course, I'm happy to see him advance."

He is still very young and already is a forceful asset in NJPW's locker room. Shingo still is Shingo, which equals badassery. Oleg seriously needs a better finisher though, because his "Kamikaze" just looks boring. The win for Shingo wasn't a surprise here, too. Match of the evening nonetheless."

He does all the silly faces, and he never looks like he really is hurting his opponents. Takagi having most of the match against a guy much larger than him also doesn't help."

Funny cause this was the first time these two locked horns in a singles match. Was rooting for Oleg but no complains from me. It seems as if Shingo had never won a tournament in NJPW so why not here. Shingo Goto sound fun."

[8.0] "(Grade:B) Oleg I'm gonna start investing in, there's such a charm in seeing this Powerhouse go up against Shingo Takagi, the veteran and out smart him and knock him off his feet. Shingo did a good job at breaking down Oleg with hitting the barricade on the outside & working out his arm to weaken it as well as busting out a nasty Made In Japan."

[6.0] "First 10 minutes was dull, not because nothing happened, but because it was so uninspired. Got a little better near the end but this was a typical Takagi match except with him controlling 80% of the match and putting the young boy through his paces and testing him. Very slightly above average. Takagi fatigue is real."
