[8.0] "Two big bulls doing what they do best. Oleg's ceiling remains to be seen, but he should always be able to excel in matches like this with more experienced opposition."
[8.0] "Just like Drilla Moloney has been doing, Oleg Boltin continues to impress me in recent performances. He may not have won here like Moloney has been doing recently, but he's still looking really good and he's another person I'm looking forward to seeing grow. As for Takagi, I've loved him for a long time, so, of course, I'm happy to see him advance."
[7.0] "I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this match. Oleg's been doing some good work lately, so it probably shouldn't have been too surprising, but I guess Takagi's not a guy in my head who can have such good matches with greener wrestlers."
[4.0] "I don't think I can ever join the Shingo train. The guy just bores me to death. Those fake punches always wear me down. He does all the silly faces, and he never looks like he really is hurting his opponents. Takagi having most of the match against a guy much larger than him also doesn't help."
[10.0] "im in the minority here and i know that. not only do i believe this match to be a 9/10, i think it deserves the full 10/10. boltin oleg just had so much momentum going into it and really convinced me that he was going to beat shingo. some super hard hitting moments and some really close near falls also helped make this match as good as it is. theres not much else to say, boltin oleg and shingo takagi just had an incredible main event level match that showed just how good these two are, especially young boltin oleg"
[8.0] "The beginning was really slow but luckly later it turned to be the Slugfest we all wanted although it was a little to late. Still great match, it could have just been so much that I can't really wait for a rematch whenever someone 'll book it. ***3/4"
[8.0] "Fantastic, hard hitting match. It was good to see Shingo mix up his tactics here to overcome Boltin. The growth we've seen from Boltin over the last couple of years has been crazy. SINGLES RECORD: Shingo Takagi 1-0"
[7.0] "Not gonna lie was expecting more. The last stretch was pretty good. Otherwise it was a match to be expected maybe even seen. Funny cause this was the first time these two locked horns in a singles match. Was rooting for Oleg but no complains from me. It seems as if Shingo had never won a tournament in NJPW so why not here. Shingo Goto sound fun."
[5.0] "I like Oleg, and I think he's got the potential to be a big deal in the future, but this was not for me. A strange mix of styles that simply didn't really mesh. On top of that this crowd was reasonably quiet all night, meaning that the match lacked any real sense of drama or investment."
[7.0] "Oleg easily could hang with Shingo. He pushed him and throw him around like he was nothing. A good performance from Oleg. Shingo defeated Oleg after a Death Valley Driver. Very nice dramatic finish. ***3/4"
[8.0] "(Grade:B) Oleg I'm gonna start investing in, there's such a charm in seeing this Powerhouse go up against Shingo Takagi, the veteran and out smart him and knock him off his feet. Shingo did a good job at breaking down Oleg with hitting the barricade on the outside & working out his arm to weaken it as well as busting out a nasty Made In Japan."
[8.0] "Personally I loved this match. Obviously it's match of the night, and it was a great Hoss fight. They beat the crap out of each other and it was awesome. Great match but not as good as Takeshita and Boltin."
[7.0] "This match was not at his full potentiall, but still the best match of the night. if it was due to Olegs power or the fact Shingo is amazing... I don't know, it just worked"
[7.0] "Not the best version of a match these two could put together no doubt, but still good by the end. We didn't see as much explosiveness from Boltin as we're used to but there was enough high impact stuff to mostly deliver on what I was hoping to see. ***3/4"
[6.0] "First 10 minutes was dull, not because nothing happened, but because it was so uninspired. Got a little better near the end but this was a typical Takagi match except with him controlling 80% of the match and putting the young boy through his paces and testing him. Very slightly above average. Takagi fatigue is real."
