Gerade wo vor einem Jahr 2K22 erschien und 2K eine neue Richtung eingeschlagen hat mit dem Gameplay welches völlig verunstaltet wurde und eher auf Fighting Games basiert der 90er Jahre wie Tekken, Mortal Kombat oder die frühen Wrestlingspiele mit Kombos etc. WWE 2K20 ist also das letzte WWE Wrestlingspiel welches noch auf die gute alte Wrestlingspiele basiert welche noch mit einer einfachen Steuerung mit Grapples funktioniert und in der Tat eine Wrestlingsimulation ist, kein Fightinggame. Der Hype um 2K22 war riesig. Doch meiner Meinung nach war das 2K22 völlig überbewertet und hat teilweise ein hässlicheres Charakterdesign als 2K20. (siehe Hogan, Triple H, Andre The Giant) Was 2K20 angeht im Jahr 2023, die ganzen Patches haben größtenteils die schlimmsten Bugs entfernt. Abstürze oder krasse Bugs sind kaum noch da. Die Originals DLCs sind optional damit auch nicht teil des Hauptspiels. Ich habe nur das SmackDown DLC mit Hogan, Chyna, Mankind und Retro-The Rock. Greg Hamiltion als Ringsprecher ist hier besonders hervorzuheben, absolute Steigerung zu den Vorgängern. Das Gameplay ist auch um einiges flüssiger als bei 2K17 bis 2K19. Der CAW-Modus ist der beste der 2K-Reihe. Hätte 2K20 nicht diese brutalen Bugs zum Release gehabt, wäre dieses Spiel nicht als der wahrscheinlich schlechteste WWE-Titel aller Zeiten gekürt wurden. Denn im Kern ist dieses Spiel weit entfernt von miserabel. Siehe ältere WWE Spiele wie WrestleMania 21, WWF Attitude oder WarZone die wirklich Sch**ße waren. Im Nachhinein stellt sich für mich raus, dass diese Spiel um einiges besser ist als der Nachfolger. Etwas was wohl den meisten nicht so erscheint, aber jedem seine. Einzig der Showcase der Frauen und der MyCareer-Modus ist schrott und für mich überflüssig. Allerdings möchte ich hervorheben das Alexa Bliss hier ein top Grafikmodell hat und wahrscheinlich bis heute ihr bestes in den WWE 2K Spielen. Zusammenfassend ist WWE 2K20 das umstrittenste WWE Spiel aller Zeiten, aber für mich weit entfernt von einem Unfall. Genügend brauchbare Legenden sind auch dabei. Der Grafikstil ist der "positiv" eigenartigste der ganzen Reihe. Eine Mischung aus Comic und leichten Realismus. 7 Punkte sind angemessen. |

I' Ve bought the Gold edition 2/3 weeks After the lunch and I didn't find all the bugs the people talked/talk about and the graphics was not so terrible. The DLC were awesome for me, we didn't have Yokozuna or Vader but Holy shit, the are as and the modified versione of wrestler were awesome to see and to play with some motherfucked moves added like the mass destruction. The story was a bit ridicoulud but It was really fine cause It was really a story mode, 2k22 my rise was pure shit. Very good towers and show case and we got the stecked tables and the chairs action, also i liked to change the way to do a finishers and big head mode like 2k19. For me a classic. *****1/2 (5, 5) |

Ich hol mir so ein Game aber auch nicht für 50 Euro. Inzwischen ist der Patchstatus aber ok. Das heißt, es stürzt "nur" noch alle 6 Matches oder so ab. Manchmal hat man Glück und kann ganze Challenges ohne Probleme durchspielen, manchmal fliegt man jedes zweite Match raus, was aber seltener ist. Ich habe die PC-Version (Steam) und da gibt es eigentlich nur zwei Probleme: entweder es stürzt vor dem Kampf ab oder nachdem der Kampf vorbei ist. Dazwischen läuft alles rund, von seltenen (und wenn dann eher witzigen) Glitches abgesehen. Inzwischen wurden aber sogar die Wiederholungen gepatched, also dass man nach einem Match auch die wichtigen Moves sieht und nicht nur sinnlose pinfall attempts. Ich finde speziell den Fokus auf das Women's Wrestling besonders interessant an dem Spiel. Da entstehen einfach teilweise super dynamische Kämpfe, an denen ich technisch überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln habe. Ich muss dazu aber auch sagen, dass ich die WWE 2K-Serie davor gar nicht gespielt habe, sondern nur die ganzen Wrestlinggames davor, also auch Oldschool-Zeugs. Grafisch - das gebe ich zu - hat WWE 2K20 praktisch keine Verbesserungen gegenüber seinen Vorgängern zu bieten. Trotzdem kann man das Game schon mal im Sale für 10 oder 15 Euro holen, wenn man jetzt nicht gerade eine Qualitätssteigerung gegenüber den direkten Vorgängern erwartet. Es macht mir jedenfalls deutlich mehr Spaß als vieles was es davor an Wrestlinggames gab. Vor allem im Vergleich zu solchen Krücken wie dem erste WWE Raw auf der Xbox. |

The roster seems perfect to me although I feel that the DLCs blew them, instead of putting people like Angel Garza they put Hulk Hgan. If the game didn't have so many bugs and errors (because even with patches and everything still has), it would be one of the best. |

But still, the game is bad, the graphics are ugly even for a PS4 (all the most beautiful games of the console are already out), there is almost nothing new compared to 2K19 (except the career mode where you can control a woman, that's cool), and I can say without any difficulty that this game is a failure. I strongly hope that WWE 2K22 will be a good game, because if you have 2 failed games in a row, players won't even bother to be interested in future games. |
