[10.0] "One hell of an underrated wrestler stuck in a meaningless faction simply because they have nothing for him nor they could save him. At this point, send the guy to NOAH or AJPW where he can actually do better."
[10.0] "Charlie Dempsey is genuinely underrated. He's an outstanding old-school technician with a real personality--something that's becoming increasingly rare in WWE. I think he arrived there a little too early. A couple more years on the independent scene would probably have done him a world of good and helped secure him a stronger position on the card. I really hope he eventually gets a run that truly reflects his talent, rather than remaining in his current role, respectable as it may be."
[9.0] "More so the better and competant member of birthright after Uriah all together thanks to his technical wrestling and the fact that his trainer is his own dad of all people, so it's nice for a little refresher for someone who can actually wrestle and can cut a promo"
[10.0] "One of the best technical wrestlers in WWE right now, is just sad that he can't even scratch the surface on what he can do. Loved the matches against Axiom, Nakajima and his recent duology against Timothy Thatcher. I can only hope he gets a push this year."
[10.0] "This man is the ultimate keeper of the lost art. His technical skills are truly underappreciated. Dempsey's dragon screw is the stuff of legends! Get this guy an action figure already! But seriously folks, it's clear to see that this man loves his craft. It doesn't matter if he is on NXT or NOAH, his matches, for me, are 100% must watch. I get that he isn't the most interesting looking guy (it's sometimes difficult for me to get into poofy, curly haired wrestlers), but his technical skills are second to none. Who knows if he'll ever get that WWE call up, but I love him for what he does."
[5.0] "I think he's very solid in-ring, but out of place in the WWE with his wrestling style. He doesn't really have the ability to be a "character" instead like his dad was in WWE. Like others have mentioned, he's far better suited in the indies or Japan with his wrestling style. Unless he somehow changes things up a little bit, then his main roster run is going to be a failure unfortunately."
"[9.0] Highkey one of the best underrated technical wrestlers of the modern era of WWE and Wrestling... He should be utilized more but hey he does put over talented wrestlers and help people standout like Myles Borne, Tavion Heights, and Wren Sinclair. ENDORSE IN THE CHARLIE STOCKS!"
[6.0] "I think Dempsey is a very underrated wrestler in my opinion. He can put on decent matches. Not good on mic to be honest but overall an underrated wrestler that could be champion with the right gimmick."
[8.0] "Truly one of the most underrated workers on TV right now. An absolute technical joy to watch in the ring. His NXT stuff is good but the matches he put on in Japan prior to getting signed were really impressive. I don't see him going far in the WWE machine - he's got the wrong build for it, technical guys don't usually fit the fed, and his mic work and character aren't up to their usual standard, but on the chance he goes back to Japan he could really go somewhere. The thought of him in Dragongate or the juniors division of NJPW/NOAH is beautiful. I really hope he gets the spotlight he deserves at some point."
[4.0] "He's a decent enough worker but he has no charisma and the personality of a wet mop. He's completely out of place in WWE with that style of wrestling. There's no other way to explain why he's been in NXT for close to 5 years. I don't know where he'd fit in at this point in a major company. He's custom made for Japan and the indies."
[2.0] "He's not good. He's literally incapable of selling. He has zero physical charisma. He repeats the same moves and sequences constantly for lengthy periods. It is painful seeing the NOAH guys and MMA legends like Shinya Aoki have to do the job to this guy. Over 7 years in training and he's learned absolutely nothing. I also don't know why WWE keeps sending him to places where the wrestling styles do not match what WWE's..."
[7.0] "The son of the legendary William Regal and a functional if unremarkable grappler at this stage of his career. Has yet to really have a standout match, and his outside of WWE appearances in Japan or for GCW have been firmly okay."
[10.0] "Charlie Dempsey is a nearly perfect wrestler only 7 years in. He's an amazing worker, character, completely believable in the ring and with distinctive mannerisms, and he can have a banger with literally anyone and always makes him look amazing. He's a draw for me, anytime he's on the card, I'm watching it for sure. I hope he becomes the first English WWE champion, I think he has what it takes easily."
[8.0] "Dempsey is a second-generation superstar who has the potential to be more successful than their father. Dempsey's in ring abilities are amazing as he shows on every occasion. He has not shown the charisma that his father has but if he develops that he could be a legit main eventer. Still young with a ton of potential."
[6.0] "Hesya great technical wrestler but somehow, the least interesting in terms of personality in his own faction. Dempsey is solid in the ring, you're almost guaranteed to see an at least decent match from him. He's still very young so he has a lot of time to work on personality and promo ability. He could be a solid mid-card guy in the future."
[8.0] "A really solid technician, he has charisma and the looks. He lacks in promo skill, but so far he has been nothing but improving. I do feel like he's being underutilized, maybe for a reason--to let him improve more; but the sky is the limit. Would love to see him winning golds more."
[7.0] "He's definitely his father's son in a good way whilst being able to be his own person. Throughout the NXT Roster, he without a doubt stands out being a great technician/grappler and being the leader of such good prospect in the No Quarter Catch Crew only benefits him in the long run as well as having sprinkle of personality. Not quite World Champion material though definitely see a fruitful Upper-Midcard career or a stellar global run outside of WWE."
[6.0] "Solid technical wrestler but he severely lacks in the entertainment aspect from what I have seen so far in NXT. Being a good technician is only one dimension of being a professional wrestler, especially in the WWE. He would need to be in a group for any sort of success. His ceiling is like a Dean Malenko."
[8.0] "He's so so good. At everything. It's time to push him to the moon. The main event scene in NXT is weak, let him work with Trick for a few months. But yeah, he's William Regal's son alright. Only 8 for now because he's still in the midcard and i need to see him against the top guys in NXT. Will no doubt change to 9 or 10 in a few months."
[8.0] "Really enjoy his in-ring work but I I think he needs to work on promos a bit more. He's decent at them but he can be so much more. He's still a terrific wrestler and he'll do great under Heritage Cup Rules, just needs some more charisma."
[4.0] "I know, I know. "why a four? he's great! " He is! But he's only just now in the past few months getting a serious push in the midcard of NXT. He's very young for WWE's standards, so I see him staying for a while with Regal sticking around. However, I think he needs more experience and time under the spotlight before I can even consider giving him more than a 4. Good wrestler, decent talker, just needs more time in NXT before he can even go up to the main roster. I don't get the hype with the 7's and 8's, those are for established, main roster talents, or indie darlings that have hype around them. Charlie, while a good wrestler, doesn't have that much story and drive with him that would push him above a 4. However, he isnt a bad wrestler at all. I want to see how well he does in NXT/Main Roster before I'll increase his rating. Someone to keep a eye on the next few years for sure."
[8.0] "Like his dad Charlie Dempsey is an amazing techinical wrestler and super fun to watch. A great promo and perfect as the new leader of the NQCC after Drew Gulaks firing."
"Er sieht für mich ein bisschen aus wie ein aufgepumpter John Lennon. Sein Segment mit Daemon Kemp und dem anderen Wrestler, bei dem sich alle drei durch den Wandspiegel ansehen, während sie reden, war witzig. Ansonsten kann ich mit ihm nichts anfangen."
[8.0] "At first glance I didn't know what to think of him. But I think his match with Matt Makowski at GCW Josh Barnett's Bloodsport X is where he completely won me over and his promos are good. I can't wait for his upcoming Heritage Cup match between him and the D'Angelo Family."
[7.0] "This guy is insanely talented, but he still lacks a crucial aspect of this game: psychology. He fails at telling a compelling story and just putting a mean face doesn't make anyone invested in you. At least that was my first impression on him, and I think giving him more high profile matches where he can develop character skills is what he desperately needs. He is a interesting profile in WWE's environment, an antagonist of everything WWE stands for. He is a pure wrestler, not quite an entertainer, nor he wants to be, kinda like Gunther. I always thought he fits like a glove in Imperium."
"I love him. Really clean technical wrestler that can cope well with other wrestlers with completely different style. Not many people fight like Charlie does anymore, so that's what makes him special. Seeing him performing in WWE and now AJPW with the likes of Fujinami, just makes me want to follow his carreer even more."
[9.0] "A diamond waiting for the final touch. In-ring wise everything fits, he rides a stiff and technical style with great details when working, he has a character and always delivers. However, there is a lack of opportunities to continue to prove himself and move up."
[8.0] "Charlie Dempsey is a good wrestler. Hes still sort of new and I hope he can be a top player in the coming years. He has some really good submissions."
[8.0] "A solid technical worker. From what I saw from NXT, he can be what his illustrious father is, a legend in this business. He has charisma and the skills. Can't wait to see his future."
[8.0] "He is a great talent that with the help of a good coaching staff can achieve his best ability, he has already done great things in a short time here in WWE, I hope he continues to improve."
[8.0] "Charlie Dempsey is excellent for this early stage in his career and I could definitely see this rating getting higher over time. He has an attention to detail in ring that is well and truly beyond his experience level, and probably greater what you'd often see from most veterans for that matter. Huge potential."
[10.0] "Charlie Dempsey nowadays if we're not going to use the word "only best techniker " is one of the best technikers in NXT UK and all of WWE. I love his style, and like cesaro, he's a powerful wrestler and I think he can own a great career in the UK and WWE."
[10.0] "Charlie Dempsey is incredible and has clearly inherited his father's innate talent between the ropes, he's just as brilliant a wrestler as he is in the technical and submission department. He has good facial expressions, vicious attacks and his Uppercuts are a thing of beauty. So little experience and already so good, no wonder when you know he trained in the NJPW dojo and now in NXT UK alongside great coaches like Robbie Brookside, not to mention the fact that it was William Regal who had to train him at the start so he had everything to become as tremendous and that's the case. He still needs to work on some things but in the meantime for his wrestling debut he's just bluffing, exciting to watch everytime and has a great & unique physique."
[8.0] "As of now, he's just great, a good brawler and technician, with a lot of potential, I can see him being Champion, next year or maybe even this year"
[8.0] "The 8 is fine for him, he is very similar to his father, a tremendous technician and he executes submissions with fluidity. Now with Die Familie in NXT UK he is doing quite well, with so much competition and such good wrestlers in NXT UK it is difficult to stand out, so in that stable he is doing very well."
[8.0] "Excellent technician, I had no idea he was Regal's son until I stumbled across it. WWE for some odd reason picks and chooses when to connect wrestlers. Definite star potential in his future, hopefully his talents aren't wasted like his dad's were for most of his career."
[8.0] "His recent NXT UK match shows a ruthlessness hidden under the calm masquerade, his skills in ring are really refined for someone who only started 3 years ago, his development has been crazy fast already, to be expected with a father like William Regal, who notoriously always loves to point out even the simplest flaws in anyones wrestling and being a fantastic trainer in himself. The potential for a great character, and an even greater in ring performer is through the stratosphere for this young man, future NXT UK champion or heritage cup winner 3-5 years down the line? Time will tell."
