[5.0] "Was solid in the ring in at NXT. Blake and Murphy were very underrated tag team which could have a decent to good match with most of the teams in the company. Unfortunately the bookers lost interest in them after they lost the belts. Spliting them up after losing Alexa Bliss was a very poor choice for both as while Murphy had success after a year or two sitting backstage with his 205 Live, RAW and AEW Run, Wesley never got going again until a short stint in The Forgotten Sons. After being one of Corbin's knights he was released. Instead of landing in TNA like Cutler, AEW, NJPW, NJPW strong he floated around in the Control Your Narrative Scene. It looks nowadays he's a guy AEW will call if they need a jobber or a trainer should NXT need one. If he finds a partner who he works well with on the indies I could see him becoming a solid tag team guy on the US indies or even on the undercard tag division on ROH or TNA."
[5.0] "He is solid in the ring but nothing he did stood out. It was actually impressive that with that horrible ponytails look in NXT, he was still unremarkable. Cannot really blame him as he was a multi-time NXT Tag champ yet we never really know who he is character wise."
[4.0] "Someone who I expect to hear of being released from WWE with every passing day. He's not bad in the ring, just rather bland. And it feels like he's been with the company for a very long time now. It just feel that, at this point, he's not going to make it beyond the treading water role."

[2.0] "Boah nee ich kann den Typen überhaupt nicht ab. Hat aus meiner Sicht Buddy Murphy immer runtergezogen, dazu ein scheußlicher Look und kaum Ausstrahlung. Im Ring zudem ziemlich mäßig. Als NXT House Show Jobber vielleicht noch zu gebrauchen, aber das wars dann auch."
[8.0] "Wesley Blake seems to have found his place in NXT for now. He's got a bare bones tough guy wrestler gimmick, and showcased some impressive in ring ability in a match against Drew McIntyre. It's way too soon to write him off."
[4.0] "Okay, so Blake, for me seems like the Jannetty. He never stood out to me as someone who could be a staple of a roster. Since the split with Buddy Murphy I think he may just be a tag team wrestler forever. The only memorable thing he's done is wear pig tails to the ring."
[3.0] "Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen. Er ist langweilig, am Micro schlecht und genauso wie sein ehenaliger Partner Murphy nicht zu gebrauchen. Als Tag Team mit Murphy, war er halbwegs zu gebrauchen. Man konnte sie nur halbwegs dulden, weil Alexa Bliss ihr Valet war, und sie war das einzig Gute an diesem Team."
[5.0] "Blake ist meiner Meinung nach etwas schlechter als Murphy. Insgesamt finde ich die beiden im Tag Team aber ziemlich gut. Da die Wege nun auf Split stehen bin ich gespannt was aus Blake noch wird. Als Single Wrestler wird er denke ich nicht lange in der WWE bzw. NXT überleben"
[5.0] "Decent in ring ability, but I haven't seen anything that really sets him apart. Fairly average in most respects: looks, charisma, mic skills. Has had a little more personality come through in segments with Alexa Bliss--potential is there, but right now, he and Murphy are one of the least remarkable tag teams in NXT."
[5.0] "Work is needed because he has potential. Murphy is awesome and i am glad to see them together! Overall he is alright from coming out as a jobber."
[6.0] "Ich schätze ihn eigentlich in so ziemlich allen Kriterien als absolut standart ein. Überall ganz okay, aber halt nichts besonderes. Im Ring, am Mic , Charisma, etc. Hat durchaus Potenzial und für die Midcard im Main Roster wird es sicherlich reichen."
