He's a tough guy who brings the right amount of violence and can play the role of the nasty midget quite well. But his lack of charisma shows and those mean faces of his feel so forced it's actually hard to watch, let alone take seriously, especially with such a terrible attire on top of that. Oh, and he can't even cut promos. I would not say he's that bad because he can actually wrestle pretty well, but I don't get the appeal his rating suggests as I would consider Pete Dunne mid at best."

One of the best Ring Generals in the world today. His matches usually range between good to great to epic. Was 1/3 of one of the best Trios of the last 10 years, "British Strong Style", alongside Tyler Bate & Trent Seven. His short lived tag team partnership with Matt Riddle as "The BroserWeights" was fun based on 2 guys with opposite personalities who was consistently having incredible tag team matches. May not be the best promo. Needs to finally get his hands on another Singles Championship belt, as he has been chasing them for a very long time in NXT US. UPDATED: In one fell swoop, Pete Dunne's career is pretty much done. Just look at his name change. Another job well done by the single WORST wrestling promotion on the planet. What a ridiculous position he has been put in. UPDATEDx2: Pete Dunne is in good hands with Triple H's booking, I am loving the way that he is being used as Sheamus is pretty much a WWE Main Roster mentor to both him and Ridge Holland, helping them both get acclimated to the WWE Main Roster, and we can see The BruiserWeight emerging through the Butch character when it is time for Pete to wrestle. As time passes by, Pete will drop the Butch character after The Brawling Brutes disband, and he will declare that he is not "Butch", that he is "The BruiserWeight" Pete Dunne! Until then, Pete is doing a great job of dealing with the cards that he has been dealt, and he is so great at adapting to everything and anything, whether it be a character, faction, opponent, or match type."

Watching him through the indies and in NXT, he can do it all. His work on his opponent's fingers and limbs are always entertaining and makes him come across as very dangerous. His style also seems more real to me like he really wants to inflect the most pain. His character now as Butch sounds stupid but he has made the most of it and it's actually entertaining when it has no right to be. He still should be in a better position and I doubt this will help him in the long run but I don't think it's a career killer either the way others are afraid it might be."

For his age, he's quite well versed and clearly knows how to work with whatever he's given. The only issues I really see is that his size and height are always gonna bite him in the ass when he's in with 6'3+ heavyweights: unless he can always work into using joint manipulation or such moves to even it out, it's not gonna look very convincing and it might restrict the way he can work as compared to guys who are around the same size. He also definitely is far from the best in terms of mic skill and I don't see that getting better any time soon. He's still a solid hand and has had some amazing matches though, no question about that, but I'm sceptical about his chances in the major leagues."

Fooking Amazing matches . His style is unique , British strong style , his talent to make counters and his obsession with fingers and arms are something never seen before , he is a ring technician but he has the ? strong Style? that makes him a total package. Time 3/4 years he will be in top spots in WWE main Roster , wwe headquarters... I hope his style and way to work will match up perfectly inUSA ... Es bleibt also nur noch eins zu sagen: Pete Dunne ist jetzt bereits, mit gerade einmal 23 Jahren, auf dem Niveau eines absoluten Weltstars, ich würde es mir wirklich wünschen und ihm auch total gönnen, wenn er innerhalb der nächsten Jahre den WWE-Titel gewinnen darf, der Jung hats einfach nur verdient und könnte dadurch tatsächlich zum nächsten großen Haupt-Heel der WWE aufsteigen!"

[9.0] "Obwohl ich fast alle PWG, PROGRESS, RevPro und WCPW-Match von ihm gesehen habe, war ich mir nicht so sicher, ob meine Bewertung seiner Leistungsfähigkeit angemessen ist. Dankenswerterweise hat er im WWE UK Championship Tournament nun gezeigt, dass er es einfach kann. Sein In-Ring-Stil ist stark und schon sehr rund und ausgeprägt für seine 23 Jahre, aber wer mit 12 seine Karriere beginnt und schon über 400 hier notierte Matches bestritten hat, ist auch kein normaler 23jähriger. Arbeitet sehr sauber und achtet dabei oft auf eine passende In-Ring-Psychologie. Ein „natural heel“, der gar nicht viel machen muss, um Heat zu ziehen, aber das ist auch ein Teil sein Talents. Als eher cooler Heel aber natürlich auch ein Kandidat, der auch mal Reaktionen konterkariert und Pops einsammelt. Sein Charisma ist gut, darf gerne noch etwas runder werden, am Mic ist er souverän und im Ring bereits sehr gut unterwegs. Über seinen Look (bzw. Outfit) kann man streiten, aber aber das liegt hauptsächlich wohl am Singlet. Ein Outfit, welches an Peaky Blinders erinnert, wäre wohl das Beste, wenn er richtig durchstarten sollte. Die Zukunft gehört ihm aber so und so."
[7.0] "Sehr guter Heel der Bruiserweight. Pete Dunn ist extrem in dem Turnier aufgefallen und das nicht nur wegen seinen Angriffen nach einem Match. Er ist aufjeden Fall einer der wenigen der wirklich mich dazu gebracht hat ihn zu "haten". Er hat einfach so ein Gesicht (ähnlich wie The Miz) in das man reinschlagen muss und das ist ironischer Weise echt gut gemeint, weil er dadurch so einfach mit einem passenden Moveset und diesen Dirty Moves zum Heel wird. Im Verlauf des UK Turniers hat man gut gesehen wie die Fans ihn immer weniger applaudiert haben und im Finale soger komplett ignoriert haben und nur noch auf Bate eingegangen sind. Wenn es nach Sympathie gehen würde hätte er 0 Punkte verdient, beachtet man aber das Total package hat er Sicherlich eine 7 verdient."
[10.0] "Ich kenne ihn schon länger durch PWG und RevPro, aber was er in dem UK Tournament gerissen hat, setzt dem Ganzen die Krone auf. Dass er großartig im Ring ist war mir schon vorher klar, aber das er das Bully-Gimmick (mithilfe des Bookings seitens der WWE, Props dafür) so gut umzusetzen würde, hätte ich nicht erwartet. Stets ein Favorit, sticht aus der Menge raus und hat hoffentlich eine Zukunft in der WWE."
