The Outrunners vignette was great, but when the bell rang, man, they are just not ready. A lot of strange moments, weird spots. No real chemistry. This was still kinda fun because of the charisma.

7713.08.2024RandyDaddy7.0[7] Absolutely enjoyed this. Love The Outrunners gimmick and how much devoted they are to it. FTR rarely disappoint in the ring. The Outrunners are quite funny with their antics and FTR were good dance partners to them. Very old school tag match but that's to be expected from two teams whose whole gimmick is nostalgia baiting for 80s. I really want to see The Outrunners on Dynamite where things actually matter. I thought The Acclaimed would make an appearance to confront FTR but they didn't. Turns out Acclaimed finally got their tag title match against Bucks on next Dynamite. I'm really really hoping they take the win and then have a match with FTR at Wembley. That would be sick.

While their gimmick has somewhat connected, The Outrunners haven't been presented at a level befitting ten minutes opposite FTR. The lads tackle that neatly however, with FTR keeping things light in order to reiterate some sense of hierarchy, still showcasing Floyd and Magnum a some in the process. They do an okay job with the space given, though their efforts aren't overly encouraging and questions remain as to the act's substance beyond their shtick. Even still, a fun enough TV match. **1/2

I thought the 5 germans spot was good since everyone does 3 but the idea that after 5 he would be able to counter into a switch isn't the most realistic. Had some very good spots like FTR dogging the breakup to have their opponent hit his own partner.
