Look, I like Edge, but I have been very mixed on his comeback run, and this might be the worst of it. A overly self-indulgent match where the old man beat the poor whipping boy in a match that took itself far too seriously. |

11 | 03.08.2025 | MariotheMariom | 9.0 | A savage carnage (forn WWE actual standarts and not taking into account the McIntyre Punk match) between two excellent wrestlers. The storytelling in the match was brilliant and the action, pungrent. The two only bad points were the stoppage, which almost didn't affected the match, and the winner of it, who could have been a wrestler with clearly minus achievements in his career and the posibility of get his credibility affected over the consolidated a lot of times world champion and already a Hall of Famer. Saving that, a great match, as I said. |

44 | 09.04.2025 | Suit Williams | 0.0 | Edge was here, dressed as a Disco Bat and pretending The Brood was important. Finn Balor, the heel that has tortured this man for a year, came out as The Demon with the smoke bombs you see thrown on the pitch at Russian soccer games and doing the music cue with his hands. They pulled out fucking COLOR-CODED WEAPONS, and they lost me immediately. I made it about 90 seconds in. They did some generic back-and-forth brawling before Edge fucked a ladder at Balor's head and busted him open. In this blood feud cage match with two people who have been feuding for a year, in a match described as Hell on Earth, they STOPPED THE MATCH so Finn wouldn't drip any blood on the nice ring mat. This is my biggest gripe with WWE and the sheer amount of plunder they do every year. They want playpen, video game violence. They want to get across violence without actually delivering on it. The second blood gets introduced, they gotta stop everything because that's too real. I remember when Terry Funk died and WWE did a Terry Funk "tribute" on Smackdown that was a plunder match where they broke one (1) table. I complained about it and got the typical "yOU wON'T bE hAPPY uNLESS tHEY lAND oN cONCRETE! " response from the defensive WWE fans on Twitter who missed my point. If WWE wants to be clean wrestling, that's fine. DON'T DO THE FUCKING PLUNDER THEN. WWE want the best of both worlds, and that's not how it works. The Levesque era of the company had loosened the rules a bit, but even in Hell In A Cell, they had Drew McIntyre towel off his face because they didn't want him bleeding more than they wanted. It's an infuriating stance that takes you out of the match, even if I wanted more than anything to be taken out of this Edge/Balor match. They rushed through a bunch of shit after. Balor put Edge on a table and climbed the cage onto a convenient little platform to do his double stomp. Edge moved, he speared Balor, and he hit the Con-Chair-To with two pretty red chairs for the win. This was everything I hate about this company encapsulated in one terrible match. Edge is done after this one. Good fucking riddance. DUD |

49 | 29.03.2025 | Yee I watch wrestlin | 7.0 | this match gets WAYYYY to much hate i mean WAY to much. The winner of the match is the only bad thing about this entire match. The feud itself and the match itself feels like a perfectly fine match to be inside of the hell in a cell. Balor winning is the one and only thing that woulda made this better. And if wwe weren't lame and actually showed someone getting hurt (balor legit bleeding in this match) in a structure they claim to be the most destructive structure in the history of wrestling. 3.50 stars |
50 | 27.03.2025 | user302 | 6.0 | Zero reason Edge needed to win this but even worse, why was the match abruptly stopped? Balor was bleeding, and maybe it was a serious wound that needed immediate care, but if it really was just a cut I don't see why we had to stop this ultra dangerous no holds barred "Hell in a Cell" match. And again, there is zero reason Demon King Finn Balor needed to lose to regular old Edge. The entrances for both men were cool but I really wish it could've been darker outside for Balor's entrance, but such is the price of a west coast WrestleMania. There were some cool spots in the match, but the match just felt like more of a collection of spots than a true fight, probably because they had to rush through everything after Balor was good to go. |

54 | 04.03.2025 | Kugenesan1 | 6.0 | Ok first thing, the entrances could've used a darker environment. Since they loved doing admin a lot, they could've done as much until it got a bit darker. I can excuse Brood Edge entrance cause it was actually very cool. But Demon Balor looked more like street artist than a demon. For a man who capitalised on the demon gimmick, HHH should have known better. Now on to the match, I was going in to it expecting wonders. One it's demon Balor. Two Edge. And three HHH. But this HIAC felt so dull. From the gimmicked objected to lack of scripted violence. When Balor got busted open, the crowd seemed to boo the doctors and ref but out of context, he was actually injured bad. Sure in kayfabe it doesn't make sense to stop a HIAC match midway and he is a demon but either way I knew the match would get better after this incident and I was right. But that wasn't enough to exceed the expectation that was put forth on this match. |

57 | 24.02.2025 | Willie 19200 | 6.0 | This was a very disappointing match considering how great it could've been. Edge and Balor both had decent in-ring, however I feel that Balor should've won and then started a big heel singles run, instead of losing, because it did nothing for either Edge or Balor. It was an okay match, but the wrong winner, and Finn's injury was absolutely gnarly as shit. |
58 | 23.02.2025 | Hazem | 5.0 | Put Edge/Cope in a big match on a big show as a babyface and rest assured he'll bore the hell out of you. This was a match between two wrestlers past their prime cast in opposite roles to the ones suited to them. Balor getting hurt didnt help either. |

Edge has eaten a lot of bitter pills in the course of the long-term feud, so the result seems somehow logical. Balor comes in as a demon, although Edge's entrance is even cooler because it's more surprising. The match itself is a seemingly unstructured string of hardcore elements in which, despite all the gimmicks, the stipulation seems pretty wasted. The bottom line is that I give it seven points. |

Most likely, the reason is that during the match, Balor received a real dissection of the head, which somewhat threw off the pace. however, in my opinion, it only added brutality and tension to the match. Otherwise it was a cool and brutal fight that I expected to see, so 9/10 from me |
