The Briscoes are a driving force in that regard, setting the tone with a chaos that shapes the first half. By the time they settle, there isn't much between them and the finish line, plugging in a decent closing stretch along the way. The work is good throughout too, making this a hit almost in spite of the space given. ***1/4"
[6.0] "It's a decent match. The Briscoes' style is chaotic but organic and fun. I'm not a big fan of the Good Brothers; they usually do good work as heels, as they did this time, but nothing more. It's a decent match that delivers."

[6.0] "This was a pretty good match that slowly started to rise high but ended abrupt. The Briscoes were just getting started as champions and here we are - Dem Boys being dethroned by Good Brothers who were known for their previous reigns being infamous and prolonged. I don't know how long this is going to be, but I do expect a great match between these two sooner since this and their Multiverse collision were disappointments. America's Most Wanted made a cool cameo on a night of appreciation to Impact and gave a nice nostalgic moment. 3 out of 5 stars!"
[4.0] "Honestly, the placing of this match was what made me zone it out. I don't remember much from it and the surprise after felt more important than the whole match"
[6.0] "This was the disappointment of the night for me. Gallows & Anderson are who they are (which is to say they can have great matches with the right people) and The Briscoes have been putting together a case for the greatest tag team of their era for the last couple of decades. I was shocked that the Briscoes lost this match, and I was even more shocked that it was over in 10 minutes. The work itself was perfectly acceptable, as the teams here can't put on a BAD match. It just wasn't what it could have been. Coming off of one of the greatest tag matches in the history of North American professional wrestling against FTR (and because they're literally the Briscoes), I fully anticipated another win to add to their resume. That was not to be. I hope they revisit this match at some point in the future because I believe there's a great one to be had between these two teams. Maybe get some ladders involved and give them 20 minutes to actually build a match?"
[6.0] "Briscoes carrying Good Brothers for 10 minutes and then doing the job for them because the GBs are clearly Impact's main connections to NJPW. A bit of a lame choice after Karl & Doc were just okay while Jay & Mark are still on a hot streak, but a solid carryjob that kept the crowd going throughout with a couple of great tag team sequences. AMW promo afterwards was really cool though. ***"
[7.0] "The result caused me a huge shock. I was very surprised. Good Brothers are champions again and it seems their dominance will only continue. An energetic and fun match, as for me, the fighters showed and the score turned out to be lower than reality only because of the result. People were tired of GB and wanted to see more on fantastic Briscoes. Gun Stun and Magic Killer solve everything and as a result, such a surprise. Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe are still the heroes of the evening for me and I'm waiting for a rematch from these fighters."
[6.0] "I think the big screw up in this match was giving the titles to the Good Brothers, there was no need to give them to them yet, moreover, I think The Briscoes could have given more prestige to these titles since the Good Brothers had a pretty long reign last year, there was no need."
[5.0] "How is it possible that of all the matches the Briscoes have had on Impact, the two I liked the least were with the Good Brothers? Bad decision to give them the titles, I imagine it's due to some external factor to the booking. Gallows and Anderson are tiring and seem to fight without passion in these repetitive matches."
[7.0] "Good brawly match with a questionable ending. Briscoes are obviously the highlights, followed by Anderson (who's maybe trying in this match, just a little) and Gallows. Kind of finished a bit abruptly, though, and the GBs winning was an odd choice considering their stranglehold on the tag division weakened the scene, and they were on the verge of not renewing."
[5.0] "Guter Brawl zu Beginn, dann gibt es eine kurze Phase mit beinahe normalem Wrestling, aber auch nichts, was groß Dramatik aufbaut und das Finish wie aus dem Nichts, als wäre einem der Beteiligten eingefallen, dass zu Hause der Ofen angelassen wurde. Für die ersten 9 Minuten 6 Punkte, doch dann gibt es einen Punkt Abzug für das Finish."
[4.0] "To say the best, it was an okayish match which could have the potential to become good, but abrupt finish and absolutely stupid booking decision ruined anything positive I had about this. I assume it's because of Gallows & Anderson run in NJPW so that Impact could get more popularity there, but it doesn't outweight the negatives, which is portraying Briscoes like that. **"
[7.0] "Not an all-time Briscoes classic, but still a good match for sure. The Good Brothers actually trying almost spoiled the result in a sense. Not a fan of Good Brothers winning, but this was still a fun match with solid action and while Briscoes have done better this year, this might be the best Good Brothers match this year."

Mehr von den Good Brothers kann man im Jahr 2022 nicht erwarten. Die wrestlen leider nur noch ihren Schuh runter und tun das nötigste."
[7.0] "Good brawl, but why did the belts need to go back onto the Good Brothers, when the Briscoes could have gone on a hot long run with them? Think Doc and Karl should really be concentrating on their New Japan work for the moment."
[7.0] "Slightly underwhelmed by their decision to throw the belts back on the Good Brothers after a mere 43-day reign from the Briscoes, who absolutely were head and shoulders the better team tonight. Hope the Briscoes get rewarded with a longer run again. ***1/2 for the match, would be ***3/4-**** with a different decision."
