| 09.07.2023 | TSwifty | 5.0 | I don't understand high ratings for a match like this but the super low ratings are absurd. For people mad at Kaito losing over and over, you clearly don't understand the story NOAH is telling. It's literally been done with guys like Okada in recent years. The Ace is losing his edge after being dethroned and is on a losing streak. He has to work his way back up to the top and develop his character along the way. Look at Okada after Dominion 2018. From an in-ring standpoint this was nothing crazy though. Simple face and heel psychology with Nosawa using dirty tactics to gain the advantage over the ace. Kaito bleeding buckets was a tremendous visual though. **1/2 |
| 16.09.2021 | texasyosh | 7.0 | I think this was a pretty good match, however it isn't deserving of a 10 nor is it deserving of a 0 or a 1. This match develops Kaito into a more "well rounded" character. |

| 22.07.2021 | cal9099 | 5.0 | I feel like I should either love or hate this match but I don't feel I land on either end of the spectrum. As far as the match itself went it was a completely bland, 2* match. I did though enjoy the character building for Kiyomiya here. I'm relatively new to the promotion and he's always come off as a bit of a bland, pretty boy to me, but this really goes some way towards giving him an edge. And it was enacted by the booker himself. It doesn't make much sense that Rongai could go toe to toe with an Ace of the company, but I'll let it slide given how much cheating he did. All in all, a decent match that was largely made by the bleeding. **1/2 |
| 16.07.2021 | Makoto92 | 8.0 | It was cool chapter in Kiyomiya's changes and I'm so glad that many people didn't rate that so high. I didn't think that freaking Nosawa can break Kaito down, but he did and it was great. |

| 15.06.2021 | Judestar | 8.0 | I get why the scores for this match are all over the place, but I thought it was pretty damn great. It rules that a match this ghastly and violent happened on a random road to show. They're telling a story with Kaito, so I don't get voting this match extremely lowly just because he lost to the booker in a count out ****1/4. |
| 06.06.2021 | DerHitman | 3.0 | Kaito Kiyomiya vs. NOSAWA Rongai ist ein solides Match mit ganz viel Heel Work von Nosawa, mal schauen wo es mit Kiyomiya hinführt. |

| 29.05.2021 | killowenskill | 8.0 | I understood the negative reviews even before I watched this, and I was fully confident that I would enjoy this battle. I agree with one person who wrote that users who put 0, advertise that they don't understand wrestling, this is the pure truth. I hated Kiyomiya's character and I was annoyed by his reign, along with pushing him as the heir to Misawa's spirit, which he violated at least by the fact that he won the world championship at the age of 20. But right now, the promotion is doing a great job of fixing the bugs, and restarting Kaito is the best they can offer. I watch Kiyomiya and now I have the feeling that I am watching one of the main faces of the promotion, and I don't care if he wins, or is tempered by defeats, trying to aim for more. The first thing I liked about this match was the structure itself. Kiyomiya is positioned as the heir to Misawa, but at the same time makes a match in the style of the 80s, which Mitsuharu himself didn't want to see in his promotion. Kiyomiya has to face the real meanness of a man who realizes that he can not win in an honest way, and taking advantage of every opportunity, knocks out an advantage. Kaito is bleeding, Kaito is angry, but any impulse, no matter how terrible for Rongai, is good for him, because it's easier to distract the referee, easier to catch Kiyomiya on mistakes, and in general, NOSAWA does an amazing job of destroying Ace, not only physically, but also mentally. As a result, Rongai wins a convincing victory in count-out, and Kaito gets angry and, showing his character, even beats up his friend. That's cool. It's definitely not a perfect match, but it's closer to 10 than 0 and it's obvious to anyone who looks at the whole picture, not just the position of the wrestlers and their positions outside of the in-ring job. In fact, NOAH shows that they are not afraid to experiment and their stars can get a restart, or just stay interesting, without carrying a heavy belt on their shoulder, which, for example, is not possible for the same NJPW, where Okada just lifelessly spends time, not allowing himself to lose a lot, but at the same time not picking up any minor championships. It was a good match and in the 80s you could see quite a lot of them. I hope that one day people will learn to look at matches in the context of history, stop talking about labels and seriously declare which wrestlers can lose and which can't (****). |

| 26.05.2021 | Makai Club | 5.0 | This was alright. It was a tad different from the usual Heavyweight style, with NOSAWA leaning towards cheating and weapon use. There was some spot of blood which helps things somewhat. Perfectly fine match for the setting. **3/4 |
| 26.05.2021 | Bushidospirit22 | 8.0 | This has to be one of the most surreal matches I've seen in a while, and it made for quite a sight. I was not expecting Kaito to break the Muto scale in a match against NOSAWA at Radiant Halls and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Honestly it was a pretty good match in a vacuum and different from the standard house show style you would expect from a major league Japanese promotion. Lots of people, especially those who didn't even watch the match, are complaining that NOSAWA won but it's actually extremely logical if you actually watch the match and follow NOAH. On one hand, the story is that Kaito has been in a major funk ever since the Muto match, and this continues that story. it also makes perfect sense that NOSAWA, the greasy veteran, would use underhanded tactics to brutalize a more inexperienced Kaito so he could get a cheap countout victory. At no point watching this match did I feel as if NOSAWA was presented as the superior wrestler, just the more experienced one who was willing to get dirty to win by any means. Additionally, the post-match anger shown by Kaito where he punched his tag partner and roughed up the ref while bleeding buckets made for great visual aesthetics. This is by far the most interesting portrayal of Kaito I've seen yet, as he usually didn't stand out much personality wise in the past. Giving him an edge will do wonders for his character in the long run. |
| 25.05.2021 | DyllanK20 | 10.0 | Excellent match, NOSAWA continues to be the best booker in Japan by giving this match a unique ending and bringing out the fire that's been trapped inside young Kiyomiya, The image of Kiyomiya being covered in his own blood with the look of pure intensity on his face will be one of the most iconic images of wrestling this year. Kiyomiya's showed a fire and intensity that nobody expected, and i believe that intensity will lead to the beginning of Kiyomiya's true ace run. |
| 24.05.2021 | dnmt | 10.0 | At age 24, it is undeniable that Kaito Kiyomiya is going to be the ace of Pro Wrestling NOAH for the next decade if all goes according to plan. Furthermore, it's nearly undeniable he is among the best wrestlers on the planet, with a technical mindset that is extremely rare and a babyface charisma matched by very few other wrestlers today. Take this into account when you are complaining about him "losing to the booker". Do we want Kiyomiya to win every match for the next 10 years? Or do you want him to do this - tell an incredible story, show a completely unforeseen level of rage and emotion, blade, provide a visual that will be remembered for his entire career, get the wrestling world buzzing, and further one of the most interesting character arcs going in Japan? How can you be so dense? The people hating on this are just advertising a very basic fact about themselves - they simply do not understand pro-wrestling. |

| 23.05.2021 | LoverPuroresu72 | 0.0 | But let's see? How is a great match going to be? It is unnecessary garbage that does not make Kaito look strong because he IS STRONG ALREADY! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE EX-GHC CHAMPION. My rating is 0. Please, Nosawa, stay away from NOAH and let more knowledgeable people make the creative decisions of the company. |
| 23.05.2021 | NotATroll | 9.0 | I see the safety & booking nerds are out in full force over this one. Let Kaito bleed if he wants to, it made for an awesome visual and made Nosawa's cheating abundantly clear, which combined with the nature of the loss, protected Kaito very well. The post-match was great too, I've never followed the "Kaito has no character" crowd, but this should prove them wrong. |
| 23.05.2021 | Milos | 7.0 | This match was unique for NOAH and I understand both people rating it high and very low. On one hand, having the booker of the company, who otherwise is a lower card junior heavyweight, beat one of the top guys and the top prospect for the future might seem nonsensical. However, I'm willing to give Nosawa the benefit of the doubt here. Has has proven himself as an excellent booker for the heavyweight division and I don't think that he would massacre Kiyomiya on a small time build-up show just for a shock factor. I expect a follow-up where Kaito we will get his revenge. As for the match itself, Kiyomiya was absolutely excellent here. He clearly has a knack for working as an underdog in violent brawls. If NOAH ever decides to book him in this kind of a match against a more serious opponent, we may get a classic. |
| 23.05.2021 | seriousbusiness | 0.0 | This match is a joke right? You have who is supposed to be the ace of the company gushing blood after returning from a concussion, and he loses the match.. against the fucking booker of the promotion. If I were Kaito I would be looking at offers from other companies because this dead-end promotion is going to be the fucking death of him professionally and literally. |
| 23.05.2021 | Zack122 | 8.0 | This ruled purely because its not the usual type of match you'd see on a random build show, let alone between the ace of the company and the booker. |
| 23.05.2021 | pierreMinne | 1.0 | Like it's said in the previous comment. It's strange. I personnally hated it. Kaito Kiyomiya returned less than 1 month ago from a concussion. And I couldn't be anything else than worried and afraid for Kaito. He was bleeding a lot from his head, it was totally unsafe to do this in my opinion. Fortunately, it looked like he was okay after the match, but wow this match made me afraid for him, and I just don't want this type of match to happen again. 0. 5 stars. |
| 23.05.2021 | segaofmyhouse | 7.0 | Really, really strange match with absolutely baffling booking. The only reason I recommend it is because it's so weird to watch Kiyomiya get bloodied and beaten up by the booker of the promotion. Kiyomiya bled a gusher and showed great fire in the end. Weird match |
