I thought it was fine and the Nasty Boys made it entertaining, especially with Dusty Rhodes on commentary, brandishing them the "masters of the clubber". The Faces of Fear are usually fine as big monsters, but next to Hall and Nash, they didn't seem as frightening. Weird rule in a triangle match that you can pin your partner and still win the match. Thankfully, they chose the more predictable route. |

They stuck around until December or January doing nothing and were reduced to lame comedy of trying to get into the Nitro arena one night, but security wouldn't let them in. Needless to say, the Nasties were buried pretty good on their way out the door. Anyway, the Nasties and FOF tag in BOTH the Outsiders and expect them to fight each other which is so moronic they should have lost by disqualification on the grounds on incompetence of the challengers. Nash just lays down and Hall tries to pin him to retain the belts so the "faces" have to run in and break THAT up. Total shmoz at the end with Nash powerbombing Knobbs to retain the belts. |
