Nonetheless, this was another fantastic chase for Liv & Raquel to hunt down the fan-fave champions and bring back the titles like nothing. In-ring-wise, all women showed intense chemistry and made the titles feel extremely relevant, which was needed once in a while. As much as I would've had this work a bit better, it paved the way nicely for the bigger story around Becky's heel turn on Lyra. It was evident when Becky returned to Mania over having Bayley's presence. 4 out of 5 stars! |

It was more than a little awkward in spots and plagued with some mis-communications especially on Lyra's part with regards to her having to awkwardly stroll to the ropes when trying to deliver her finisher to set up the next spot not once but twice with the match finish also being awkwardly executed. That being said, the crowd was hot for this and the couple of near falls made Lyra look strong ahead of her taking the pin fall and having Lynch turn on her. It's a shame, however, that after such a good year, for Liv especially, that the Women's Tag belts were basically confined to a couple of poor matches and a quick switch this Mania season in aid of an angle for the returning Becky. |

Obviously, this was to get both the titles back on Liv & Raquel, and to add a feud between Becky and Lyra. The rematch was so much better than on the previous night, and while Bayley getting screwed over sucked, this was still one of the better ways to make Becky come back with some impact. Side-note, I'm extremely happy with how good the women's tag division has gotten in the last few years. With Damage CTRL, Judgement Day, Lyra/Bayley & Bianca/Naomi/Jade putting on a bunch of great matches lately, it's good to see that we're picking up the pace on what used to be an afterthought. |
