Joey Janela vs AJ Francis: Really good match to open GCW Look At Me, enjoyed this match more than I was expecting to, solid back and forth action throughout, AJ Francis had a strong showing (especially after his failed stint in WWE), hope AJ Francis gets more matches in GCW [***3/4]. Lio Rush vs Jack Cartwheel: Solid match, a entertaining Cartwheel off to start and then solid action for the rest of the match [***1/2]. Masha Slamovich vs Allie Katch vs Dark Sheik vs Lindsay Snow: A four way Match that featured some decent action, should have had more time but what they were able to do in the time they had was a good watch [***]. Ciclope, Miedo Extremo & Rina Yamashita vs Alec Price, Cole Radrick & Mr. Danger: Another decent victory from Ciclope, Miedo Extremo & Rina Yamashita, some cool moments and enjoyed it [***3/4]. Tony Deppen vs Mansoor: Really enjoyable match, more enjoyable than I was expecting, Mansoor had a strong showing and the ending submission from Tony Deppen to Mansoor looked brutal but cool, one of the best matches Ive seen from Mansoor [****]. Jacob Fatu & Zilla Fatu vs Jay Lyons & Midas Black: Zilla Fatu looked decent in his GCW debut match, Jay Lyons showcased his power, Jacob Fatu showcased his agility in a match that showcased decent tag team wrestling, it was decently watchable [***1/4]. Broski Jimmy vs Jai Vidal: This was the weakest match on the show, I did not really enjoy it [3/4*]. Gringo Loco vs John Wayne Murdoch: Okay hardcore match, could have been booked differently and had more time [**]. Violence Is Forever vs Culture Inc.: Another good title defense from Violence Is Forever, Culture Inc. proved to be worthy opponents that nearly clinched the titles and gave up a good fight [****]. The American Giant vs Local Competitor: A squash match that unfortunately looked not good to be honest [DUD]. Blake Christian vs Marcus Mathers: Despite not being the previously scheduled match, it was a decent match, Marcus Mathers gave a solid effort but issues with this knee was the downfall and allowed Blake Christian to retain [***1/2]. Effy vs Mance Warner: This was an absolutely fucking brutal match, the ending was shocking to say the least, these two practically tore each other apart and it was a good watch [****1/4] |
