[Roman Reigns -- accompanied by Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa -- enters the ring to address recent events involving Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Before Reigns has a chance to speak, the crowd starts chanting Rhodes' name.]
Roman Reigns: "Oh, we'll get to him, but first... Birmingham, Alabama! Acknowledge me!
[Cheers and boos surround the arena in response to Roman's catchphrase.]
Now the wise man [Heyman] will tell you, I don't like to recap. I would prefer to move forward, but there were some things said on Monday, that we just can't let slide. My little brother, Seth Rollins... [The crowd doesn't react.] Exactly, no pop. He said he's got the title, THE title. So I had to think about it, I'm like, 'Didn't I beat everybody competing for that title?' Doesn't that make all them my 'number twos?' Shouldn't we call that the 'loser bracket title?' And then he had the audacity to say that he was 'the guy.'
[Reigns laughs at the thought of Seth admitting that.]
You can't be runnin' around here for two years in your wife's clothes and say you're 'the guy!' And then he wants to say he's a 'workhorse,' but three months in he broke his back tryna caring that show. And let me ask y'all this - do workhorses walk like this?
[Then, Roman proceeds to take a short walk inside the ring, visibly 'limping' and making a mockery out of Rollins' recent health issues.]
Hell no! And then he wants to attack my schedule? Oh come on, this is simple. I work less than you, yes. That's true. Actually, I work like ten times less than you. And I still make ten times more than you! So, let me-- I'll ask y'all: you want Seth Rollins money... or 'Tribal Chief' money?
But see... Cody? He's an idiot, he's got values and all that crap. He don't really care about the money, I don't think so, I'm gonna break it down to him very simple, this is simple math, here. Cody, I'm not gonna beg you like the other guy [Rollins]. You can either be the very best 'number two' in this industry or you can take a crack at 'number one' again, that's your choice."
[Reigns gets suddenly interrupted by Rhodes' theme song, which receives a huge ovation from the crowd. Soon after, Cody himself appears on a ramp, then proceeds to enter the squared circle to confront Roman and his crew. Fans rally behind "The American Nightmare", chanting his name yet again.]
Cody Rhodes: "So... Birmingham, Alabama! Roman Reigns... What do we wanna talk about? You know, I imagine this conversation a little bit more private. If you'll indulge me, perhaps we can have the ring to ourselves.
[Reigns accepts Cody's offer and gestures towards Jimmy and Solo to leave him in the ring, only with Heyman by his side.]
So I took a great deal of council this week. I talk to friends, family, legends. You know, you cheated me. I had you! [see Note 1.] More than anybody that you've been in the ring with, I had you and I think you know it. Seth Rollins, he's made a lot of amazing points this week, but one of them that I disagree with, he called that [Rhodes points at Roman's championship] the 'Hollywood Title.' You can call it whatever you want, that's still the title that Bruno Sammartino held, it's still the title that was put into my father's hands in Madison Square Garden and then swiftly taken away. Again, call it whatever you want, I still want that title.
Let me ask you: what is 'finishing the story?' Cause I've heard you say that all of this, ALL of it is yours. This ring, the canvas, the ropes, that camera, the announce desk, all these people. You guys belong to Roman Reigns apparently. So, is 'finishing the story' taking that championship from you? Or is 'finishing the story' taking everything from you?
Let me make it abundantly clear: I want that title. Matter of fact, I'm moving my own goalpost -- I want that title, I want everything, and I'm coming for it. I'm coming for you, Roman Reigns... but not at WrestleMania. [The crowd reacts with a subdued negativity.] I mentioned taking 'council.' Roman, one of the individuals I talked to, he knows you very well."
[Rhodes lowers his microphone and at this point, The Rock's theme song hits to an insane reaction from the crowd. After Rock performs his signature pose on a top rope, he turns his attention to Cody and offers him a handshake. Rhodes accepts and both men hug it out; however, Rhodes looks visibly sad. He then proceeds to head towards the ramp, leaving Rock, Reigns and Heyman in the ring alone. The segment ends with The Rock and Reigns in a face-to-face confrontation while the crowd chants 'Rocky!' and 'This is awesome!'.]

- Note 1: During the main event of WrestleMania 39's second night, Rhodes was a few seconds away from beating Reigns for the undisputed WWE title. However, Roman took advantage of distractions created by Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, which resulted in Reigns retaining his championship.
