Beschreibung

Die Tag Team Titles der IWA Mid-South wurden am 18. Juli 1997 eingeführt, waren allerdings vorerst nur für wenige Monate aktiv. Nach über 4 Jahren Pause, wurden die Titel Anfang 2002 neu vergeben und mit ihnen erstmals eine richtige Tag Team Division etabliert, u.a. mit Death Match Teams wie Mean And Hard oder Bad Breed. Zum Ende des Jahres mussten die Titel wegen Verletzungen erneut vakantiert werden und mit dem Fokus der IWA MS auf Singles Matches gerieten die Titel wieder in Vergessenheit. Erst im Mai 2004 wurden sie mit einem Turnier erneut reaktiviert und blieben in den folgenden Jahren fester Bestandteil der Liga, wobei sich die Iron Saints wiederholt als Champions krönen konnten. Im Herbst 2008 wurden die Titel allerdings wieder still und leise eingemottet und werden seitdem nicht mehr ausgekämpft.
