I don't think they were the greatest stable of all time, for me everything after the first Bullet Club Civil War storyline is way too inconsistent and they spent most of their last year as a wrestling Ship of Theseus, but fuck, they're up there. It is beyond argument that they are the most important stable this side of the millennium, however. A huge part of NJPW's enormous western boom in the late 2000s, which in turn leads to All In, which in turn leads to AEW and the monopoly over wrestling in the US being broken. We'll be lucky if we see anything like them in terms of popularity and importance within the next 20 years, if not more I think. |

To a degree I wish they would do what they seemed to do with the judgement day on this site and make separate versions (maybe for each leader/time period? ) so I could end up doing both, but for now I'm gonna be rating based on the modern day bullet club sense it's the most honest way in my opinion. And while the bullet club was one of the most badass and cool stables in all of wrestling in the ages of people like Prince/Finn, AJ, and Kenny Omega (unfortunately mostly AJ and Kenny), in the modern day it's kind of a convoluted nothing burger. Between a lack of clear standout talent, and the fact that it's been split up to the degree where it's relation to the nWo looks less like homage and more like a direct parallel + the fact that the bullet club as a core barely even exists anymore... it's alright at best really. Still has some solid talent but when you get to the point of a faction where people start arguing whether or not it even exists anymore, you should probably just end it. |

It's at the point where I see it on NJPW & immediately think the whole product seems incapable of forward progress. Bullet Club was a huge boon for NJPW out of the gates. I remember seeing their t-shirts all over the place back around 2015-ish. They probably were at their best with the white hot AJ Styles as their leader. Even after AJ left, they still had a lot of life, especially when Omega was running the show. But at this point, they have no leader anywhere near the caliber of AJ or Kenny & it shows. Now they are a shell of what they once were & NJPW really should find a reason to kill the Bullet Club once & for all. |

I know a lot of people that started watching New Japan and indy stuff because of BC and the brand became very popular, I mean, I can't stand the t-shirt no more lol. But jokes aside, the stable deserves all the praise for being influential in literally every company and producing nice stories, matches and moments for wrestling. Not my favorite but perfectly influential. |

It essentially morphed into AEW, which is quite amazing when you think about it. The Bullet Club name took over professional wrestling for a little while, which is just incredible when you take into account it's just some faction in NJPW. What made it become bigger and better was the fact it was filled with some top level talent that eventually moved onto bigger and better things. It had a place in wrestling for a period, but now it has absolutely become a shell of its former self. It has just become a faction that's going off it's name rather than the actual people in it. It's highly unlikely they will ever get "big" again as a faction, and it'll never reach the heights it hit during the mid-late 2010s. Have to give it 4 points though, it wasn't anything crazy or original, it had a lot of good talent and really did take on a life of its own, but the fact they haven't really just shut down the stable after all this time is really hindering it. |
