IShowSpeed was a needless spot but better than Drew Carey in the 2001 rumble, as it occurred early in the match and was over very quickly. Honestly the second half of the matchup was very good. Final six was perfect with Seth's attacks on Roman after their elimination was perfect. Surprised they gave it to Jey Uso but with how over he is with majority of the fan base it makes sense. |
| 6 | 03.02.2025 | danzitorock | 0.0 | Well, at the matchguide I've tried my best to rationalize this one, put into perspective that the MATCH had some cool moments, many good things, and also a lot of flaws, but it wasn't a DUD, which is not the case if we're reading this as a TOURNAMENT, as a tournament this was awful, I've watched the Rumble with my friend, and we were speechless after Jey Uso eliminated John Cena and won the match, what an awful decision, you had one of the most star-studded matches of all time, with guys like Cena, Punk, Roman, Seth, Drew, Zayn, etc... and you give it to Jey Uso, unbelievable, they really should've done the obvious with this one, but they've tried to do a surprise result and it sucked, there isn't even an interesting match for Jey at Mania, he had one of the worst matches of all time against his brother at WM 40, and now he receives a prize like this one year later, truly disgusting, this will forever be remembered as one of the worst decisions ever, they've ruined the entire thing by running Jey as your winner, and I'm glad this received some backlash, even considering how popular Jey somehow is in the US. |

Im fine with Jey USO winning though and if they are ever gonna pull the trigger on him then now is the absolute time to do it. He is never gonna be more over than he is now. So many interlocking stories and fueds going into this and so many possibilities emerging from it. Probably my favourite Rumble ever and I think the first properly decent one Paul has booked. Actually thought they were gonna go with Logan Paul at one point as well." |
