Blair was a decorated champion in CWF because he was a capable wrestler in ring, but that translated to a tenure in the WWE as part of an undercard tag team and fruitless tours of New Japan at the highest level because one side viewed him as too small while the other side saw him as a gaijin. He was a fixture in the short-lived Herb Abrams UWF, which is notable because his interviews regarding that were particularly impactful."
[6.0] "A guy who was an acceptable to slightly above worker. In today's day & age, he'd be the best worker on ANY Indy show. More known for being a tag team specialist with Jim Brunzell as the Killer Bees. He (BBB) always had a good physique and was always acceptable in ring."
[5.0] "B Brian Blair is a pretty average wrestler for his era, and he excelled as a tag team specialist. In the ring he wrestled well and was able to keep up a pretty quick pace. Never stood out to me on the mic or seemed to have any real charisma. His best run with Brunzell as the Killer Bees."
[6.0] "B. Brian Blair started in Florida and later joined the WWF before teaming with Jumpin' Jim Brunzell as the Killer Bees. I thought he was the better technical wrestler of the two, but the less exciting as well. Their feud with The Hart Foundation was a lot of fun and Blair was always good in the ring."
[7.0] "ok so. *sigh* I have to just say it. His political beliefs are straight up STUPID. Total moron talk, undeniable and proven hogwash. Also, he remembers some things verrry incorrectly. But hey. some people are like that. Anyway: His ring work was certainly solid! I appreciated the way he incorporated amateur maneuvers into pro 'rasslin. I honestly feel Brian Blair was among the best at including amateur stuff seamlessly into the smoke & mirrors of the pros. I wish I could say I've seen his stuff in Florida, but to be honest - I only caught his Dallas/Mid South stuff prior to his work up in New York. It's a very good thing he was paired with Jim Brunzell, without a tag partner I am certain Blair would have been placed as enhancement talent. The Killer Bees are among the most underrated teams ever - they always delivered a very solid match! While I've always liked what I saw - I confess it's not as much as I wished it was."
[2.0] "After really enjoying Brunzell's previous team, the High Flyers, I thought I would dig the Killer Bees. Sadly, Blair adds very little to the equation and really has nothing else to his name besides that run. A very unimpressive and dull guy to watch in my opinion, there are no really good Killer Bees matches and plenty of poor ones, and it's not because of Brunzell as he can be quite good in the right circumstances."
[7.0] "Great technical wrestler, but was bad on the mic. I really liked his team with Brunzell. Deserved a short run with the tag titles in my opinion."
