I can't give him a zero because he was very athletic and was involved in matches that I enjoyed. As a booker he and Bully Ray killed Ring of Honor and dating Mandy Leon and giving her a spot on the roster and prominent tv time didn't help either. |

| 37 | 06.05.2021 | Loki Hipster God | 4.0 | It's difficult to rate someone who has served two vastly different functions in wrestling. As a wrestler, he's a 7. As a booker, he's probably a 1. I split the difference in my rating, although I will mostly be discussing his booking. First off, I will say that it's probably a difficult job to juggle storylines for TV, live events, and PPV, so I will give him credit for that, but I personally don't understand his booking philosophy at all. He took a company that was founded on pure wrestling and decided that the best course of action would be to cut down on the wrestling while adding lots of run-ins, overbooked finishes, and nonsensical heel turns. Whenever a match in ROH is good, it's always in spite of the booking, never because of it. Whenever a young guy gets over, he's never given a push or rewarded for it, he languishes in the same position for years. It's quite telling that ROH circa 2015 had most of the same roster as modern-day NXT (minus the Evolve guys of course) - the ROH shows back then were always considered disappointments, whereas NXT is consistently great and frequently has some of the best wrestling in North America. And no, it's not because the wrestlers have gotten dramatically better, it's because the booker isn't holding them back or ruining their matches with nonsense finishes. Delirious seems to have the mindset of always holding back until the PPVs, but then the PPVs are so overbooked and overfilled that they frequently have to cut their main events short because they run out of time. |
