[8.0] "Rusher Kimura was a pretty big star of early puroresu, known for his brawling. Best known for his legendary cage matches, and later on in promotions like AJPW, and NOAH. He was the face of the IWE for a long time."
[5.0] "His main quality was trash-talking and his mythical status as a cagematch specialist, which only intensified when many of them were barred from being shown on TV for their violence. Damn, Rusher must've been amazing in his prime......and then you actually watch the stuff that's around and you find out that most of it is pretty much the same formula of him getting beat down by a Gaijin baddie, comeback, blading, weapons, and then him winning at the end. He's a really average performer that only really mastered how to get crowds excited with a escalation of violence, of which he struggled to stand out otherwise. He's just......very average by the standards of the time, and that's even more exposed when he has to work a ace role and tackle big acts by his lonesome, which doesn't go well most of the time and results in boring outcomes. His speciality later came with tag matches as apart of the AJPW 6-man comedy uncle matches, of which he was the most immobile but a critical element, so much so that he stayed around afterwards in NOAH doing the exact same thing. He was always a good hand that the audience appreciated, but those were never going to be good matches and unlike Elgin and Momota, who would go on to have sparingly good matches before retiring, Momota never really had the same opportunities and as such his post-prime career is immensely bland. He's still a legend but a great/really good wrestler he wasn't."
