[10.0] "He cares so much for the wrestling business and he is such a great trainer! He is creating amazing stars and his work and dedication is overlooked by many. He is a solid in ring performer but his promos are SOOO good and the fans connect so well with him! Such a great guy and is appreciated by many"
[9.0] "A spectacular worker and trainer that gets overlooked. Pretty much anyone you hear talk about south has tremendous respect for him. George South loves pro wrestling and has put everything he can into the business. Nothing bad to say about George South."
[7.0] "The Barry Horowitz of the South. Could work with anyone, could do anything... on the receiving end. His watchability* depends solely on who his opponent is. The Cruel Connection outfit is one of the THE great eyesores in Wrestling history, maybe top 3! Career highlight? vs Ric Flair on World Championship Wrestling Nov 12 1988, about 43 minutes in (if you have the WWE Network/Peacock). Total respect to him for still doing it, incredible longevity! You go George! *I rate people on how watchable they are: from eyes and mind totally fixated to immediate fast forward, so of course I've fast forwarded past him taking on the likes of Jimmy Valiant."
[5.0] "this guy was good enough on the mic and even inspired with his looks. But as for the rest of the aspects, you can wish for the best, I will put 5"
[8.0] "Great enhancement talent due to his remarkable selling and well respected by his peers such as Ric Flair and Arn Anderson in the 80s and 90s due to a mixture of selling, athleticism, and professionalism. Later became a well respected trainer as well. He does not have the "it factor" that pushes him to the level of those like Flair and Anderson, but he was/is everything one would ask for in a worker otherwise."
[8.0] "Veteran enhancement talent, which a LOT of fans seem to misunderstand as "not a good wrestler". This is obviously BS. Not everyone can be the top guy, or even in the top 10. If that were the case, then there WOULDN'T be anyone on top. The big reason why those select few got to being that way is because of guys like George South. Wrestling is only as good as the 2 people(at time, more than 2)in the ring, cooperating with one another. You don't have that, you have an, absolute abortion of a match. Ric Flair even said that George was his favorite guy to wrestle because HE, in fact, made Flair look like a million bucks. There's very few enhancement guys I'll observe what they're doing, and George South is one of them. He really was that instrumental in helping the top guys GET to that level in the first place. Anyway, that's my reasoning for the rating I gave, a rating I truly believe he deserves."
[6.0] "George South was one of the best jobbers of the 80s era. He could make any wrestler look like they were a genuine threat to any other member of the roster."
[9.0] "George South is/was one of the best at losing matches. Terrific as an enhancement talent and an amazing Southern rasslin' heel (when given time to be one) in his own right. He has been entertaining for decades, and is still in great shape, unlike a lot of his fellow wrestlers from his time. The only thing that keeps me from giving him a 10, is, although I respect his Christian beliefs, I can't stand how he wrestles with Biblical passage numbers and "I Love Jesus" on his tights. Why do I dislike that? Because why would a heel wrestler wear Christian shit on his tights, and then go and wrestle and make his career in the Bible Belt? Why would these Christian Southerners want to boo someone who is a practitioner of their own faith? But then again, religion is a bunch of hypocritical BS anyway. But I love me some George South ;-)"
