He has rebounded well in TNA as a reliable big man. Overall, his in-ring skills are solid and when he is allowed to show it, he does have charisma."
[6.0] "Kon was ok in WWE, especially as part of the ascension with Kenneth Cameron and later with Viktor. Kon was someone Vince typically liked, so it was disappointing to see his career flatline. However, it's good to see that he is now with TNA, where he can contribute meaningfully to the company. He can still go which is nice to see. he lacked credibility but he had okay promos and good strength but when he went to RAW and started to lose it was just a breaking point for him where he could not get up."
[3.0] "Eigentlich ein brauchbares Tag Team gewesen. Natürlich mit Defiziten im Ring, aber die Aura hat gepasst. Das unterirdische Booking bei RAW hat sie aber in kürzester Zeit beerdigt und sie konnten sich nie davon erholen. Viktor war der im Ring bessere, aber uncharismatischere Partner, Konnor im Ring schon ziemlich schwach."
[6.0] "A decent powerhouse who has been on a WWE contract for a long time, becoming a member of both Ascension lineups, but most of the time being a jobber. Now he's got another chance by signing a contract with Impact Wrestling and joining Deaner and he looks pretty good, even though he's over 40."
[6.0] "Kon's time in WWE, despite what some might say, was the highlight of his career. I really miss the Ascension, especially when they were in NXT. Kon is now in Impact as a member of the Design, and although I don't see him winning any titles (unless he somehow wins the tag gold), he looks great as the meat of the group. That's the role he should always play in any company, as it seems to be the only role that fits him."
[5.0] "Konnor was the meat of Ascension using power moves rather then technical moves. He had limited talking time or really any character other then his outfit and face paint, I kind of miss him and Victor."
[6.0] "Konnor is pretty good. Despite being big, he is decent in the ring and was really good as the big man of the team. Unfortunately, Vince didn't push them on the main roster even though they were talented."

So at 2018 till now is another worse year for Konnor and Viktor too , so don't expect me i give him high rate ! i know they had their empire in NXT but past isn't matter at this point."

Mittlerweile als Mitglied der Ascension leider in der Undercard verschwunden, obwohl mich das Gimmick schon überzeugt hat. Sehr schade, aber er ist im Ring leider auch nur maximal durchschnittlich. Nur mit starkem Look kommt man heutzutage leider nicht mehr weit."
[3.0] "Siet 12 Jahren bei WWE, seit 12 Jahren kein Durchbruch trotz starkem Look, das sagt eigentlich alles über ihn aus. Im Ring recht schwach, Charisma jetz auch nicht besonders, durch sein ausgefallenes Gimmick und die Tags mit besseren Partnern schafft er dies jedoch ein Stück weit zu verstecken. Trotzdem insgesamt ein ziemlicher Langweiler."
[3.0] "Mic: Es ist durchschnittlich 5/10 Ring: Unterdurchschnittlich 4/10 Gimmick: Totaler Abklatsch, dafür gibt es keine Punkte 0/10 Promos: Ein Mitleidspunkt, da er/sie sich bemüht/bemühen. 1/10 =2, 5"
[6.0] "Konnor is the lower part of the Ascension but is still pretty decent. He plays his roll of being the bigger man of a tag team pretty well. He has some pretty good power moves he can do well also. He lacks on the mic and doesnt have enough charisma. Overall I think he can be a solid mid carder if their tag team splits."
[3.0] "The Ascension managed to get over in NXT largely due to their booking in a series of squash matches. Sure, they can run around the ring and throw power moves for four minutes, but they really can't do much more of that. Konnor is the weaker of the two, as a speaker and as a wrestler, and some of his moves look worryingly dangerous. When he's not booked as a beast, his glaring weaknesses become more than obvious -- and after failing a drug test, it's miraculous that one of the worst non-giant workers on the roster has yet to be released."
[3.0] "Konnor ist in allen Bereichen klar schlechter als sein Tag Team Wrestler. Jedoch wird er als Einzelwrestler nie eine Chance bei der WWE haben. Im Tag Team gut aufgehoben jedoch echt krass was aus der Ascension geworden ist. Man könnte viel mehr aus den beiden machen. ""
[4.0] "Ich verstehe, warum Konnor bzw. Conor O´Brian so viel Zeit im Developmental System der WWE verbracht hat - ihm mangelt es leider ein wenig an Talent im Ring. Er mag zwar mittlerweile muskulös und dafür auch recht beweglich sein, da hört es aber mit den positiven Punkten auch auf. Es mangelt an technischer Fähigkeit, deren Fehlen er leider auch nicht mit starkem Brawling (was doch im Bereich des Möglichen liegen müsste) ausgleichen kann. Am Mikro auch kein Grund zum Hinhören, fehlt ihm alles, was ein Singles Wrestler brauchen würde. Ein Tag Team ist die richtige Lösung - aber nicht das, was im Main Roster aus der bei NXT noch recht beliebten Ascension geworden ist (Road Warrior Imitationen für Arme). Leider sehe ich für ihn bei seiner Entwicklungskurve kaum eine vernünftige Zukunft außerhalb der Profession "Jobber", da müssten schon sehr unvorhersehbare Dinge geschehen. Ich kann mit seinem Team Partner mehr anfangen - aber auch nicht viel mehr."
[8.0] "Konnor ist in meinen Augen das stärkere Glied von The Ascension. Nicht nur wortwörtlich, also auf reine Muskelkraft bezogen, sondern er füllt die Rolle des bedrohlichen Kriegers besser aus als sein Partner Viktor. Für einen Big Man ist Konnor ziemlich gut und harmoniert bestens mit Viktor, sodass ich hoffe, dass man The Ascension wieder aus der Versenkung holt bzw. aus dem neuen Stable "The Cosmic Wasteland" was gutes macht."
[6.0] "Solider Worker. Mehr leider auch nicht. Bei NXT wurde das sehr gut durch das Gimmick überspielt und durch eine Team indem er und Viktor sich gegenseitig perfekt ergänzten. Im Main Roster ist dieses Team traurigerweise zum Jobberteam verkommen."
[8.0] "I've watched Konnor's career for about 5 years so I've seen his FCW stuff, his NXT seasons 4 and 5 stuff, and all of his times in every Ascension incarnation in developmental and on the main roster, so those who only took notice of him on the main roster currently wouldn't know that he's more talented than he's made out to be on TV these days. Sure he may not be good on the mic all the time in today's version of The Ascension and especially back when he was doing the rat gimmick in his early FCW days and on NXT season 4, but when his voice is toned down and he's himself cutting promos, he's pretty good. Not only that but Konnor's not a bad worker either. For the most part his moves in the ring look really good and dominant especially when he's a tag team wrestler."
[1.0] "I don't understand the good remarks the Ascension has. The team got buried by the NWO, DX one time on Raw in 2015 just as the team MIGHT of had a welcoming start to the company. The spiky shoulder pads and attire the group has is also nothing but, a complete Legion Of Doom ripoff. No promise here."
[6.0] "Ist ein durchschnittlicher Athlet, aber ein doch recht gutes Powerhouse. Man müsste ihm einfach nur ein paar richtige Gegener geben, dann würde er glaub ich viel mehr aus sich machen."
[7.0] "Gefällt mir recht gut in seiner Rolle, muss aber im Ring noch zulegen. Mit Viktor zusammen, hoffe ich auf eine größere Zukunft im Tag Team Bereich."
[3.0] "Ich kann mit ihm nichts anfangen. Das mysteriöse, was sein "Ascension" Gimmick ausgemacht hat, ist endgültig verschwunden. Als reiner Wrestler ist er unteres mittelmaß."
[8.0] "Ist noch in der Selbstfindungsphase was Name, Teamzusammensetzung und Gimmick anbelangt, aber sollte aufgrund seines fortgeschrittenen Alters mal langsam in den Main Shows eingesetzt werden. The Acension ist eine fett inszenierte Geschichte, die eine größere Bühne braucht um zu wirken, wie sie gedacht ist. Und im Ring ist er ja wohl mehr als intensiv. Ich könnte ihn mir spontan gegen jeden Main Eventer vorstellen. Konnor vs Punk? Check. Konnor vs Cena? Bam! Pusht den Jungen zu RAW!"
[7.0] "Bis jetzt 6 Punkte und einen Punkt extra für das Potenzial, das ich persönlich in diesem doch recht agilen Powerhouse mit der richtigen Optik sehe. Kann mit dem neuen Gimmick echt was werden in der WWE!"
[8.0] "While O'Brian's weaknesses become more prominent without Cameron, as a singles wrestler, Conor O'Brien is still pretty good. He is a larger man who can move very well, and is the perfect brawler. Everything about his wrestling style, and look fits the monster archetype in pro wrestling."

[7.0] "Conor gefällt mir bis derweil sehr gut, ich bin gespannt wie es mit ihm weiter gehen wird. Im Ring ist er gut, sein Gimick ist interessant und seine Stimme unterstreicht dieses nocheinmal so schön. Mit Alberto Del Rio hat er sicherlich einen guten Pro zugeteilt bekommen."
[9.0] "If one wants to find the definiteion of a brawler, look no further. O'Reilly (aka Conor O'Brian) fit the role perfectly. With great power, combined by a good usage of the ring and surroundings, plus a good usage of striking technicques and technical wrestling moves. I hope NXT 4 helps him move up the roster fairly quickly. I also hope that he will fuinally begin to wrestle more matches. His only match so far showed what he can do. However, he NEEDS to wrestle more, or else he will get eliminated (which will probably happen sooner rather than later)."
