When this guy first started wrestling in Xplosión Nacional de Lucha, he was a member of Los Instagrammers, a trio that portrayed a "hipster" gimmick. He did well as a rookie, until in 2016 everything changed, but not for good. An new international promotion called Wrestling Superstar came to Chile, and claimed that they wanted to crown their first ever WS Chilean National Champion in a 20-man interpromotional battle royal. Of all representatives of chilean promotions at that time, Alex Hero was booked to win the championship. However, tragedy stuck. During the first minutes of the match, the guy attempted an "almost eliminated" spot, slipped on the rope, and got himself eliminated. Despite both the referees and the audience seeing this, the guy returned to the ring, and exposed the entire match. And almost inmediatly, the crowd turned on him. Not only they booed him out of the building, but also never stopped complaining about him in the following months. To make matters worse, WS never bothered to work this incident into an angle, and simply decided to ignore it. This actually damaged both Alex Hero's reputation as a wrestler and WS's credibility as a promotion. However, the guy was the champion so, in the following months, both Legion Lucha Libre and 5 Luchas Clandestino tried to capitalize on this, and pushed Alex Hero as their top star. And after almost two years of trying, both promotions came to realize that they have indeed chosen the wrong guy. He never managed to get over with the audience since he wasn't charismatic, barely had any mic skills, didn't have social media presence at the time, and looked like a generic indy wrestler. The audience usually sat in silence during his singles matches, since he didn't know how to connect with them. The reminder of the battle royal incident didn't help much either. While he became a member of a very popular stable called The Bad Bunny Crew, the group became further proof that the audience only cared about him as long as he was surrounded with more entertaining partners. Also, the real breakout star of the Crew ended being Da Silva, not Alex Hero. Nowadays, while the guy is still wrestling, he's just another midcarder of the bunch. It's sad, considering that he was just the wrong guy at the right time, and also that the WS mismanagement of the battle royal incident wasn't completely his fault. Hero has improved a lot over the years in terms of wrestling technique, and can indeed have good matches. However, he's simply not the right guy to push into the main event. |

His reign as Undisputed Chilean Champion is so good, he defeat wrestlers like Carlito, Twiggy, Montoya, Coyote and Jimmy Bang Bang, and he is Main Eventer in Legion. His storyline with Lucky Buzzio and Jesse Lover, as argentinian is awesome, the people hates him! |
