Rather rough to witness; obviously slow and blatantly limited, lest we forget the poor physique. Didn't fair much better in the territories either. I haven't seen his Medic/Doink/III stints, but I doubt they're at all remarkable. 2.5 rounded up. EDIT: By 1989, Dusty has improved on at least his body language and speed. He's still dumpy & bland with a bad haircut but he moves better and has a better grasp on timing by this point. 3.75. |

Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett even once or twice. It is kinda unfair to lump them all into one person calling them out of shape or a jobber. Some of the spots they did were really good, they would get over and it was all fun. I have always enjoyed a clown character of some sort. Hierbei traf er u.a. auf den Undertaker oder Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Skinner, The Genius und Doink the Clown Auch eine Qualität. Keine gute Ausstrahlung. Nahm er das Doink the Clown Gimmick an und wrestlete damit im Independent Bereich und überall auf der Welt. Manche meinen: "Was bitte hat dieser Typ eingeschmissen, dass er wirklich glaubt, mit diesem Gimmick irgendeine Daseinsberechtigung haben? Dieser Nichtskönner spuckt auf das Andenken, welches Matt Borne kreiert hat und pisst auf jeden weiteren Doink, der je existiert hat." Das ist freie Meinungsäußerung und legitim. Ich denke halt - kann man ihm den "Doink-Gimmick-Klau" verübeln? Immerhin war die WWE/(F) laut Ray Apollo (3.WWF-Doink) SO BLÖD weder das Gimmick noch den Namen schützen zu lassen, und das bei einem der größten WWF-Heel-Gimmicks aller Zeiten! Da denke ich halt, man kann das nicht krumm nehmen, selbst wenn es ein dreister Coup ist. Das ist ähnlich wie bei Tom Brandi und dem "Patriot"-Gimmick. Klar gibt es hunderte Doinks independent. Aber Dale Wolfe muß Geld verdienen um zu überleben. Wenn ihm das sein Einkommen und Bookings sichert - warum nicht? Und er sorgt dafür, dass das Doink-Gimmick nicht ganz vergessen wird. Der "Doink-Gimmick-Klau" IST DOCH CLEVERER als ein ganz neues Gimmick sich auszudenken, Kostüme herstellen zu lassen und nachher kommt es nicht an und man bleibt auf dem Aufwand sitzen. Definition of the "Pin him and pay him" guy. One of the top 5 jobbers in the mid-late 80's WWF. Had a terrible look and he had the 80'iest hair style you could ever imagine! He was never going to be anything great with that helmet hair! According to the Internet Wrestling Database, Dusty had 130 matches in the WWF, and he went 0-130! That's a much worse record than Glass Joe! |
