405.02.2024Red Mage Riot10.0Not as bombastic as your Harts, Cornettes or Heenans, but Gary Hart still deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as those greats. Cold, calculating, and eloquent, all it would take is one good promo, and Hart could get whoever he wanted over as a legit threat.

804.06.2023Giantfan19805.0One of the more professional acting heel managers. He wasn't the hyperactive spaz like a Jimmy Hart or a conniving weasel on the level of a Bobby Heenan or a loud suit wearing interfering pain in the ass by Jim Cornette. Gary Hart didn't have a gimmick beyond being a stern and cold manager who didn't BS.
908.10.2022Conquistador375.0For every time I was totally fine with Gary Hart and his ideas (1989 is a good example of some of his better stuff), there were times I wanted to throw my fist through his brain. Was this "fist through brain" Tully Blanchard level heeling? Hell no, this was "shut the f#ck UUUP you racist JERRRK garbage that will never have a place. He could ruin good interview time extra fast in the early/mid 80's and it could get appalling enough to earn him fast forward moments. Many times his interviews went fine, but more so his interviews could get awkward, I never did like him calling people by their shoot names, or calling Ric Flair "Ricky Flair", I know he was trying to gain some type of heat - but to opt for "smark" heat? in that time frame? For what purpose? What did it achieve then? I'll answer it for you: NOTHING! Also, I have to admit I think I preferred when Ken Mantell and others booked World Class. Another complaint: the whole "there's obviously nothing in the towel" bit ultra mega hella SUCKED, especially with "Maniac" Mark Lewin- UGH! Ups n downs, but when his ideas were good: being a critical element in "The Great Kabuki", helping in the molding of the King Kong Bundy character, creating the iconic mohawk/biker look for the One Man Gang, suggesting "The Great Muta" to Keiji Muto; they became legendary. While his short comings were gawdawful TERRIBLE, his positives can not be denied. 5.25 rounded down.
1019.06.2022texasyosh10.0Gary Hart is a legendary manager and a pretty fantastic booker too. Was one of the men responsible for a great era of wrestling in WCCW.

1326.02.2020JEK 199110.0One of the best heel managers of all time. He never went to the WWF. He was great at the promos. Wish he went to WWF who knows where he could have gone.

1516.11.2018RatingsMachine9.0Gary Hart is another manager who never got his due, in part because he never had a major run as the top manager on the national stage. Hart had a darker aura than most managers; he felt like someone with a genuine mean streak to him. And he did if you tried to do wrong by him.

1726.08.2016notbobsaget10.0Gary Hart could talk like no other. His every word gave the feeling that if his client didn't beat you, he'd jump in the ring and kick your ass himself. And he often did. This dude carried a razor blade with him at all times in real life just in cast shit got serious, and he was the kind of motherfucka who knew how to use it. Mess with Gary Hart and he'll slap you so hard your no-good family will feel it, too.

2110.06.2015Shentenza7.0Mochte ihn als Heel-Manager, außerdem managte er namenhafte Wrestler allen voran The Great Muta.
