"I would like to take some time to offer Linda Street & Adrians entire family my deepest condolences. A true inspiration to us all, a man who rose from the mining pits in South Wales to television screens across the world. Adrian was a true working man, a miner who had a dream, no-one believed in, because he was deemed too small. He proved everyone wrong! He was made to be seen, starting the glam rock movement and producing great albums with his band the pile drivers. Adrian won World and European championships and most importantly teamed up alongside his wife Linda and brought true British Wrestling to the USA. Where Adrian also raised a good point there is something very strange about a cowboy! A sadist in sequins, a true warrior of professional wrestling, who wrestled for over 5 decades - and always did so with a spring in his step. But above all Adrian was a brother, father, grandfather, husband and great man, who fort till the the very end. The word Legend is thrown around a lot, but I cannot think of a better word to describe Adrian Other than maybe EXOTIC Rest in Peace Adrian"

Could juxtapose grace and brutality like no other. Extraordinary look and longevity. Forward thinking, game changing trend setter in a multitude of ways. This guy makes Jimmy Valiant material borderline watchable, which is one of THE wrestling miracles of the 20th century. Love this stuff. EDIT: Also, his music is pretty great glam/camp rock! Go to youtube and check out his music videos when you have the time! Such a great character!"

This man was doing the flamboyant homosexual character light years ahead of guys like Goldust, Billy & Chuck, Velveteen Dream, etc. And on top of that, he was also an immensely skilled grappler/technician, able to do multiple different holds you can't even think of, and could've probably stretched you to death if he wanted to. Watch his 1972 match with Jim Breaks if you want to know what I mean."

[8.0] "Adrian Street-Exotic Adrian Street managed to craft a character that was unlike any other and it has never been duplicated as successful as street now goldust was close. Adrian Street was able to amplify his flamboyant character and work on high mid-card to main event level in several territories. he had that British style that when combined with his viciousness gave him a legit air of toughness because he was a very legit tough guy in real life despite his size dude was a Pitt bull . His prancing around, his kissy faces and his outrageous costumes, combined with his eye gouging, fishhooking and finger-splitting incensed fans to an amazing degree. The man could get heat! While he was a colorful flamboyant character who you could consider him one of the greatest British wrestlers or even one of the greatest flamboyant heels of all-time. a trailblazer in some people’s eyes look at how many clones that spun from him what promoter s made, Adrian Street created a niche for himself and created one of the most distinct heels of all-time."

Interesting to me was a documentary I saw him in where he comments that he originally was trying to be a ladies man and was horrified when the audience labeled him as a gay gimmick."
