[7.0] "On one hand, I really enjoyed this match, as I almost always do any Katsumata match. He and Janela, who is fresh off of surgery and probably shouldn't be doing a match like this so soon, took the brunt of abuse in this match and really sold well. Mance played the part of "annoying monster heel" perfectly and had the crowd eating out of his hands. The pacing is a little uneven and I think there was a little too much downtime during Katsumata's abuse section, but this was a lot of fun and the booking was kind of interesting too, given Katsumata and Warner both being champions. Katsumata eats the pin in the end and revels in front of the JP crowd, proving him to be an effective, loathsome heel. We'll probably never see these three again in a ring, which is a bit of a shame, as Janela and Mance both seem to really get how to appeal to a japanese audience in thier own ways."
[7.0] "Okay this match isn't phenomenal or anything like that but Joey Janelas selling takes it up a notch. Also not to mention we'll probably never see this match again"
[7.0] "Das war das zweitbeste Match der Show meiner Ansicht nach. Das war ein gutes, unterhaltsames und intensives Hardcorematch wie ich finde mit durchweg Action, ohne das es super spektakulär war aber ich fand es mehr als anständig und gebe daher 7 Punkte."
[6.0] "This was an enjoyable title defense for Warner, who just works as a heel that everybody wants to see lose. There are some problems with the match like a lack of intensity from Janela, but he is still recovering from pancreatitis so I don't hold this against him too much. It didn't do anything that extreme for GCW, it is a weird balance though to fit a legit hardcore match onto what was otherwise a comedy event. Katsumata was a great underdog in this fighting in handcuffs for a long period of time. I liked the pacing, there were plenty of big spots that all had enough time to breathe, the dynamic between Warner and Katsumata was good and made me wish this was a straight singles match. ***1/4"

[5.0] "Pretty boring and flat, with no real interesting spots and too much time between them. First time watching Mance Warner and his character didn't catch the crowd all that well. One of the worst, most obvious blade jobs in recent memory too."
