LA pins Paul to ensure he earns the right to challenge Logan for the US Title as well as giving Paul a reason to fuck with Knight. Santos Escobar... Well, he was just there. He gave a good performance and, instead of eating the pinfall, was used to make Paul's loss more protected as it came out of nowhere after a BFT to him instead of a more dominating finish over the US Champ. Logan Paul keeps feeling completely natural in the ring and makes you forget he is an influencer and that he is without question a professional wrestler. Pretty good match with an outcome that keeps developing the US Title feud in a more relevant way (*** 1/4) |

I honestly came close to lowering the score even further because, in addition to the audio issues, there's a lot of distraction from two non-wrestlers that I don't care about just to pop the new york crowd. It is a testament to the wrestlers that it was still a worthwhile watch despite that. |
