27.05.2025 | N47H4N H4RDY | 5.0 | Too similar to 2023 to wow me. Jey and Jimmy starting was fun for 5 minutes, but that ran out of steam too quick. I agree with Waller, Yeet is cringe, and it will become like that meme where people look back on Marshmello and say that they couldn't believe this was cool (I never did because I'm smarter than that). The Judgement Day are incredibly boring that this point and R-Truth adds little to nothing. Gunther showing up midway has nothing on his Iron Man performance in the previous years, the same with Cody. If you wanted a better bout, have Cody and Punk be number one and two, and maybe Gunther at 30, to make it feel more like a journey.

Really enjoyed the Bron Breakker spots as well |

It's fine, nothing particularly offensive, has a lot of the same midcard problems that seem to plague many rumbles. Final 4 is pretty much perfect especially considering Punk's status. |

16.02.2025 | bennythegeneral | 9.0 | Why is this rumble rated so low ? lol it was a fantastic rumble and Cody's second win is miles better then his first and the rumble in general. 2024 rumble was also stacked with amazing wrestlers and storylines going into it as well. 5.82 is stupid quite frankly

31.01.2025 | troman22 | 6.0 | (6) very good ending, despite the crowd being SO DEAD for it and the entire match, which really takes away from a Royal Rumble. The beginning is so forgettable, I think the only two good bits are Jimmy trying to be friends with people and R-Truth's hot tag, which both last far too short to be anything that would make this something other than an average rumble match.

19.01.2025 | uselessdollthing | 1.0 | Just realized that I never rated this and to be honest I don't want to watch it again so I am going off my live viewing experience of this. Usually this really helps rumbles because on watches outside of the live context they can really start to feel like complete slogs. But I think watching this when it already happened might at least be assuming for some to examine in retrospect. Live however, a massive disappointment to the point where I almost quit wrestling again. The one saving grace of this is that the mini match at the end and the tease of the feud between Cody and Punk was cool. Cody was supposed to chase after Rollins with his win but ended up thankfully not subjecting us to more of that. The rumble overall was just really boring and a huge slog to get through.

14.01.2025 | Smi-48 | 6.0 | There's no need to get upset now, the result was clear as day and is fine. Cody deserves it after last year and is a bigger investment in the future if he manages to unseat Roman Reigns than Punk would be. And he in turn doesn't need Roman Reigns to get his Mania main-event, as Seth Rollins was already set as his opponent when he returned. Enough about the result, that leaves the Rumble itself. Gunther and Breakker emerge victorious, as do ... well... as well as ... no one else. Too ponderous, too arbitrary the field of participants, few favorites and hardly any feelgood moments, like that of Sami Zayn's return. Instead, a badly wasted starting slot with Pat McAffee. The action itself is relatively okay. Otherwise it's pretty much by the book, which doesn't make for a remarkable Rumble. But the Big Match feeling is still somehow there.

15.12.2024 | Thenxt observer | 9.0 | ****1/2 (09/10) The only portion of it that I found to be a waste (in the sense of the way Vince would waste spots in the Rumble during the time of his throne) was the Pat McAfee bit that did get me to laugh, but also to ponder as to the other prospects that could have filled in the entry. Besides that, this was one of the most consistent Royal Rumble matches ever assembled from top to bottom, each entry and every elimination, down to the final four which was followed by the excellent mini match between Punk and Cody, which turned out to be a dream match only made by the Pro-Wrestling Gods. When talking about the greatest Rumble matches in history, many claim the 92 Rumble, Stone Cold's third in '01, even the previous years masterpiece with Cody's story truly beginning. But 2024's Rumble main event was the sequel to that masterpiece.
14.12.2024 | brooksavage2004 | 5.0 | It's a really fine royal rumble match with some amazing entrants, the Usos starting off the match against each other, CM Punk's official WWE in ring return and the final four was amazing, but it's just too predictable, no-one outside the final four had no chance in winning the match and Cody winning it was obvious from a mile away.
07.12.2024 | piotrusjasigma | 8.0 | 8 for this royal rumble match, not only did my favorite Cody win, it was cool, it was also the nostalgia, when he stayed only with CM Punk, it was a great show, I would deign to watch it, it's fantastic, I came to the conclusion that it could have been even better if there were a few returns

01.12.2024 | celticinvader | 5.0 | Idk about this one, this lacked the surprise factor that makes the best Rumbles as good as they are. Wouldn't be too much of an issue if the match carried on or developed feuds going forward but outside of the Uso rivalry at the start and build for a potentially excellent Gunther/Drew angle, there wasn't a lot in terms of story to chew on. Doesn't help that Punk seemed to gas out in 3 minutes and that section at the end with him and Cody dragged a little for me. However, everything between entrants 15 to 30 was dynamic and fluid action, and I loved how much Bron was pushed. Proper mixed bag, this.

19.11.2024 | Den003 | 8.0 | I also don't understand the hate for this royal rumble. Because in my opinion, it turned out to be quite strong. There weren't many legends, but it seems to me that for some reason they began to move away from this format and it should be accepted. Well, otherwise, it seems to me that this is the most intense battle that I have seen. The match itself was normal, but when there were 4 contestants left, a completely different match began and it was a truly unique experience. Therefore, for such an ending, I am ready to give a high score.

25.10.2024 | Will Morris | 5.0 | for me this is quite a weak rumble. i like jimmy and jey being the first two, i think sami at three would have been better than #30, i think saving that for the biggest return is best, not that this rumble even had one. honestly when it got to 30 i forgot sami had been off tv as i'm just so uninterested in his character since mania last year. i feel like there were a lot of wasted spots such as pat, kross and having ricochet and kofi in the match to not even do any spot seems ridiculous. the r truth bit is still as un-funny as ever and the winner was a slight shock as it felt too predictable, i would have preferred it to be someone going after seth's belt to make the path for cody slightly harder but overall just a very flat and bland rumble. ***1/4
