It was different from the other nine matches of the card and that itself makes the match worth it. It would've failed as a another technical bout or spotfest, so they went for an Attitude Era type of overbooking mess. And boy, it was fun. (***1/2)"

Coming into this match he is meant to be out for blood and it starts off ok but then all of his worst instincts and lack of wrestling intelligence comes out. Surely he should be razor focussed on Trent but at one point he spends nearly a minute getting the crowd clapping going. He is meant to be coming into this with an injured neck but other than going "owwwwie" every now and then, it plays no part. I wish wrestlers would learn to change up their move set when they are meant to be selling a body part. The visual of Amira getting put through the table in a bright red dress did look great but even the interference spot went at a snails pace. You would think after all this that Oku would be running wild to get revenge but still nope. I am pretty sure I will have this as my worst match of the year that involves two competent pro wrestlers. Absolute dog shit."

It's also fair that him against Trent Seven was one of the bigger matches they could book for this show and this venue. Sadly, the match didn't work. It was an overbooked mess by the end, the sort RevPro are always capable of, and it just didn't land with me. Levi Muir at ringside was undoubtedly the highlight."

The first table spot resulted in a loud thud which you could feel on the other side of the room. I can see why people might roll their eyes at a match like this but with the right action in the right place at the right time, I can get behind it. I thought this was a fun way to switch up the card before the more serious main event."

I can see why people enjoyed it but it was easily one of the worst matches I've seen this year and a low point in Oku's stellar run in RevPro, made even worse by the flat post match debut of Spike Trivet."

Who knows what's gonna happen after that post-match, I think it's gonna be a real test of RevPro's booking."

Belt spots, referee spots, girlfriend spots, table spots, interference spots, if you can think of it, this match had it. But both Trent Seven and Michael Oku still worked hard and put on a good match. Oku is just a tremendous underdog, and a great wrestler, but he is so undersized, it will be interesting to see how he holds up and comes across now as the Heavyweight champion."

The shenanigans contributed to excellent spots but its hard not to feel like a more focused, brutal interaction between the two wrestlers would have been superior."

Still, this was done quite well. I would say this was not the best match for Oku but given his best opponents were occupied, fair enough."
